....and you thought you liked him before. Dweezil made my heart ache die down as I thought it was over for Frank. How amazing the tribute from the legacy. The dedication involved in guitar mastery is directly proportional to the quality of the product your ears just heard.. So 8 hours practice a day minimum with 1 day off per week = thank fuck for you Dweezil......ammirite? Props to the uploader too
Long before there was a band lead by Dweezil playing Franks music there were atleast a dozen highly skilled Zappa Tribute bands keeping Frank Zappas music alive, bands like the Grandmothers or Ed Palermo just to name 2 bands, most of the Mothers of Invention musicians are who make up the Zappa tribute bands.
You're dad would be proud! The talent you have along with fresh artists makes everything new and fresh! you have your dad's voice. I'd like to hear it sometime!
I wish I could "like" this a thousand more times! I'm in a band that is working on this version of it. I sure hope we can do it justice.... Dweezil is so amazing, like his dad, maybe more so!
dweez put together a great group here! Wish I could afford to attend their concert. Sure miss Frank , last saw him in 1969. Holy shit , where did all that time go? Great music goes on and on.
When I saw zpz in edinburgh Dweezil totally called out Sheila for playing careless whispers in one of her solos, and then he *absolutely* drops Baker Street just before his solo gets heavy. Conceptual Continuity!
Zappa plays Zappa, and Brock plays Brock! Love this Gen2 version of this sublime paean to the Sacrament of Confession! "But a dungeon, like a sin, requires naught but lockin' in of everything that's ever been." How great, therefore, is Christ's Victory!
hey, what do you think about uploading it together with black napkins (or whatever is the name of the previous song)? they kinda fluently fit together, if I remember it correctly
I'm such a big Zappa fan and absolutely love what Dweezil is doing. It's great to see this music still going.
Wow!!
Dweezil and Company
Daddy Would be Proud.
iv'e lived for this since 1974......Keeping It alive Dweezel!
Who is the guy singing this song?

NMB is a great man. Ray White too.
bravo bravo bravo... ICH LIEBE EUCH MIT EUERER GENIALEN MUSIK; DIE MICH IMMER WIEDER BERÜHRT UND aufwühlt in einen Gefühlen.
I love his guitar work.
Shiela is as big a badass as Ruthie was. Damn. Her "eat that question" copy is brilliant.
Now that is what a son to be proud of looks, and sounds like.
This is absolutely OUTSTANDING! BRAVO!

man that solo is so gooood
Fantastic version...Dweezil tears it up...the band is other worldly...perfect for a live performance.
One of my favorite Frank Zappa songs, that is for sure.

I get to see Dweezil April 27th in Portland, Oregon. I can hardly wait!
saw that show about 10 years ago, well worth it, amazing.
Definitely the best solo I heard Dweeze rip.
man the tone from those single coil pickups on that fender def appropriate for the solo in this one, take a break SG haha
Awesome, with an amazing guitar solo including a Frank-style tribute in there.

Goddddamnnnnnmmm
Oh, man, that was just stunning. I can't help thinking it would be the perfect campaign song for Donald Trump.
Could you fuck off about Trump for a sec? For fuck's sakes.....
I highly doubt that Trump would use it given how Zappa was ardently anti-Republican
....so is PresidentTrump. Remember, they twisted his arm to promise to run as a Republican if he won the candidacy.
Dude you for Trump🎉
Perfect for the whole country if Harris wins!
Genial 💥
This isn't one of Dweezs' best renditions. It should be more powerful than this, in my view. Oh hold on, he rips it up at 8:30. ha ha
Tortura se nastavlja !
I hope this pisses off Ahmet and Diva!!
The name, Ahmet, translated from the ancient Egyptian from whence it comes, means "eater of the dead". Fits the current situation too well.
@@mvdeano A piece of Zappa trivia...Frank named him after Ahmet Ertegun, co-founder of Atlantic Records.
why so?
Non finiranno mai le torture!!!!!!
You obviously don’t pay attention to details..You got the title of song incorrect …..
6:57 - 7:23 fffffffuuuuuu
Too posh for my taste.
Where s the roar after D. solo they should stop playing retirement homes
