I'm from Florida and moved to NB. It's full of Californians....my block is almost half ex-Californians. A lot of what you expressed was also how we felt when we were deciding where to move. We moved to Texas for a job, but we were able to choose where in Texas. I grew up going to Houston for family but it was very similar to Florida in many ways. I wanted something a little different and some pretty landscape. Then we just were looking at the whole Austin and San Antonio areas and ultimately decided on NB

So glad we aren’t the only ones that felt like that. We will be there in the next two weeks, we are beyond excited for our move!

@ it is big if you seen it 10-15+years ago you would understand.
The river is basically gone every hay Feild is now a sub division
Side note if a city has a hospital it’s a fairly large city if it has 2 hospitals 3 hebs and a Walmart it’s not a small town.
