@Vinayak Bhat I had many different tracks here on the background, from different musiciens. However, the sound is Manding sounds, which is shared between Mali, Guinea in General, also Gambia, and Senegal in some cases. But very dominated by Mali/Guinea
Poet1, we want to know if you have been (significantly) restricted from interacting within the scenes and the locals and what can be done about it. TH-cam is a key part in fostering peaceful coexistence around the world.
@Adam Janneh Restricted.... YES. But not by the authority, only by the locals themselves because of their reactions against the camera, whether intended at them or not. This is not only in Gambia but also in all West African countries I visited on this trip. The only solution I see (in my opinion) is to be educated more about the benefits of social media and not all is negative. Compare my vlogs in West Africa to my vlogs in Fiji, Middle East and India, it is a complete opposite reaction. Great question!!!! Thank you and please stay tuned.
@@visualpoet1 if you are staying longer in the Gambia I can give you free accommodation for three days at my house in Busumbala village not far from serekunda. Hit me up in the comment if you need it, I will send my bro phone number to you he will pick you up.

It's Gambian instead. This region of western Africa is home for Mandingo tribes and this is their music, played with an instrument call Kora
