Thanks for posting this! I don't see a lot of platinum/palladium white background portraits (maybe people feel like it's a waste of metal) but the one you did, the second in the video, her eyeglasses look fantastic with this print process

The way he talks about printing platinum - his passion. I have been a teacher for many years. I love teaching but I miss the creation process of my own work. To be able to spend time focused on the creating work from the photographing through to the process of hand printing them. Thank you for reminding me of that feeling. Roberto - your work is stunning.

Such a wonderful documentary about a fascinating process! Well done :) I did my very first darkroom print in my kitchen yesterday and fell in love, and now seeing this I've fallen even deeper in love with this craft. I just read in the comments that you're working on an online course with Roberto, so I'm really looking forward to that. All the best!

Stefan, Thanks so much. I'm glad you liked it. Yes, this is just a glimpse of the whole process. Indeed it's a beautiful and precise craft. I have been doing a lot of darkroom stuff lately just for fun. As I said on my previeus comments stay tuned on this channel or send me your email and I put you on the mailing list for the course.
      Cheers.. and keep taking photos.!

Hi, it seems that the last p4int in the video, the one of the old woman with glasses, is made on glossy paper? Is that true?
Did you come around to make a video course on platinum palladium printing?

They look beautiful. But isn’t the detail and tonality down to the negative, which often is a digital file? So the range would be the same, no? These prints do look spectacular. I saw massive blow ups from 35mm film which looked great with a digital negative
