Good Video! We recently bought a Super Circuits NVR with 6 4k Turret cameras. The best security system we ever had! Way better analytics (faster/accuracy) than any wifi cameras. IP Camera System + Nest Doorbell (wired)= Home Security perfection! Lol!

I work as loss and prevention officer in finland, our laws are horrible against shoplifters. If shoplifter hits me and i hit back i get charged for assault. I respect the job you have done, because i know how hard it is sometimes. Can you do video about how to catch a shoplifter, tips to identify shoplifter etc shoplifter behaviuor.
Damn, that sucks. Always interesting to hear how other countries handle shoplifting. That’s a great suggestion for a video. Training was my favorite part of being a loss prevention manager.

Thanks for all your replies in the past. I have new construction with either CAT 5 or 6 cables running towards four camera locations. I believe your system IP NVR is what I need? Cameras will be mounted in 8 to 13 ceilings,fyi. How affordable is ALIBI?

Are you able to view the live feed and previous recordings on your phone with these cameras or only on a hard wired monitor?
The system has a great app. You can view live footage & you also have full access to your recorded footage. You can save still photos & video clips in the app ass well.
wonder if your popularity is connected to this TH-cam channel? you are doing a fantastic job of making videos that are very informative, well edited, and bless you....short! can't stand videos of people talking for 20 to 30 minutes when they can tighten it up and move on.

My favorite Doorbell camera is The Eufy DUAL.
I know this is an old video of yours, but I just noticed on their website that they have a newer systems that can be viewed and used on smart phones now.
They’ve had systems that you can view on your Smartphone for many years. Long before this video.
Hey there, we just bought our first house and security is very important. We are no longer in a neighborhood. We are a little more country with some space. We don’t live in your state. Do you work with people out of state to help put together a package? I nearly pulled the trigger on ADT. $118 for a robust system but 5 year contract. I’ve been doing a lot of research and lucky to have found you. I delayed the ADT install to continue my research. I believe we will go the self monitored route but I’d really like your help. Thank you.

What about Revo systems, they are pretty awesome
Revo is more the entry level DIY stuff, but they are fine for that type of system.
I’m looking for something like this to mount on my RV for security while on the road and stationary at a campsite. Is there something like the Alibi system that rather demanding environment?
If you had constant power & a way to run cables from the camera to the DVR/NVR, Alibi could work in that environment.
@@GeorgeLangabeer I’ve got constant power through shore power, batteries, or generator, but maybe not pure sine wave power. Not sure how sensitive those systems are to “dirty” power. I can run cables through the “basement” but snaking them through the walls will likely be… challenging. I’d probably bring them into the vehicle and hide them as well as possible behind bulkheads and cabinets.
My main concern is how well the exterior cameras will handle bouncing down the road at 60+ mph.

I can make some great suggestions for wired systems. I recommend my go-to brand, Alibi. But with wired you definitely get what you pay for, so I guess you’d have to define “budget friendly”.

Unfortunately for a good system, you’d be in the $1200-$1400 range.

Never heard of it unfortunately.
Some of use dont want integrations - integration means more spying. Did you know ring cameras own the footage not you ? Just one reason to own your own non integrated wired system. IMO
Definitely an advantage to owning a wired system.
Would you ship to Canada? Or is it possibly to purchase from a local supplier and wire it myself. I’m an electrician so running the power and data wires isn’t an issue. As long as setup is straightforward.

Yes the Alibi wired systems have both an iOS app and Android app.
Best cameras to use within HomeKit?
If you’re talking wired systems, there are none. You’d have to find a system that works with Homebridge/Hoobs to do it.
Would you say ProVue or Cyber Secure wired systems are comparable to Alibi as far as quality?Been looking into getting a wired residential system in the future,so just checking all options.
They would be in the same tier as Reolink. So one step above the “drug dealer” cameras I always talk about, but a step below Alibi.

Is it a good idea to have a separate brand for a burger alarm and then have a wired good quality security camera system?

I don’t have a list of their dealers, sorry. I will tell you we’re one of their few dealers that do residential. We’d be happy to ship you a system. It’s just CAT5e cable, so if you’re worried about the install, it’s something an electrician would do for you.

You are in business with them so biased opinions. But that being said I want to know what are their downfalls. What can they do better?

I’m stalked by other companies every day getting me to try their equipment. I always go back to Alibi. I’m in business with them for a reason. They never fail me.
They’ve earned my “biased”. I’m under absolutely no obligation to do business with them. It’s 100% by choice. They’ve always been there for me (in tough times like Covid), they don’t fail me & they sell great products. All extremely important to a small company like mine. I’m a loyal dude. If a company is good to me like that, I’m going to sing their praises. They don’t have “downfalls”, that’s why I always go back to them.
But if you’re a person that always needs a negative…As I’ve said in pretty much every video I’ve made that I’ve mentioned Alibi, I wish their equipment had more smart home integration. For example, I wish they sold a good video doorbell.
