I feel so bad for Monica, she was trying to make everyone's Thanksgiving perfect and they all had the audacity to complain, even after manipulating her to get exactly what they wanted.
It was mostly like that throughout the show. Monica was the most responsible, loving and caring one while she is deemed as controlling, bossy and high maintenance. Personally for me though she is the main hero of the series.

As funny as I found the overall scenario, I did sympathize with her at that point - it was like "okay, joke's over" at that point. Before anyone jumps on me, I get that this is a comedy, but it looked like it could have been the moment where the jokes end for a moment, and they comfort Monica and apologise.

It was really mean thing to say for Monica everyone pressurised her to make food of their choice and she was doing everything by herself to see them happy and after so much hardwork getting to hear they had better plans just breaks your heart. The beauty of it all is that, they all shared Thanksgiving together that year, and kept the tradition going throughout the rest of the series. No matter what, deep down they knew they were family. The very end of this episode is the best part.

For GOD'S SAKE, stop focusing on the character's flaws. With the way you look at her you will definitely think of her as the most rude character in the entire series. so What I mean is that everyone hates her because they look at the bad side of her personality, but have you ever thought of her with a different way?Like Have you ever thought about how cool and good she can be like the others? If i thought the same way you are thinking of Rachel I would see Monica or even Chandler himself like the worst characters in the entire series if I ONLY focused on their bad attitudes and traits. You can only laugh and enjoy the series without hating any of the characters, just watch and laugh and enjooy

Remember how later Amy moved in with her and Joey and Rachel explains to Joey that she was a lot like Amy when she first got there, that she was spoiled but she has grown and become a responsible adult? This is exactly what she's talking about in that scene. It's called character development.
Chill. It's just a character. If she hates rachel as a character then let her be. It shows how great this show is because people get so attached to the character like if the character is a real person.
By the beginning of the show, I didn't like monica at all. But when it ended, I felt she is the one who kept that whole friendship together.
i didn't like Monica most of the time, she's too isteric, and not funny

Monica worked so hard for everyone, they were so mean specially Rachel knowing her friends are the ones who gathered the money for her to go.
The beauty of it all is that, they all shared Thanksgiving together that year, and kept the tradition going throughout the rest of the series. No matter what, deep down they knew they were family. The very end of this episode is the best part.
Chandler: "Now this feels like thanksgiving." Right after when everyone is ungrateful to the devotion of Monica.
Chandler is both the sarcastic king and the best friend you can have to back you up.
And everyone except Rachel (who wasn't in the screen) glares at Chandler.

I hate this scene so much bc Monica tried her best to make Thanksgiving great for everyone and not only did they ruin it bc they expected her to take care of everything, they had the audacity to get mad at her, show absolutely no empathy when she was upset that her hard work was ruined, and then basically said that they all had better things to do anyway. I know I'm probably overthinking this bc it's a sitcom but it just never sits right with me. I'm 100% on Monica's side here.
