I repeat myself: I like your videos. I have watched it several times, but I never felt comfortable with that song. It's just like Till is absent. The intimacy is gone. I remember that Goethe was galloping out of town when a friend was dying. Even his wife died alone. Death seems too much for Till. He cant handle it. To me this song is unfinished.

They usually add more context to the actual video and it is nice that they credit all the people who were involved in making the video. You should go to a live show. They closed September 23 2022 show with this song in Los Angeles. The best live band I’ve ever seen. A great video that , like most of their vids, needs to be seen in its entirety. You are the only reactor that gets it right

I've read that Rammstein was asked whether this is a goodbye of the band and they answered that this is not their intention and they don't have plans to end up with their music. The whole album - which has a kind of melancholic touch (even in the funny tracks) - was made under the impression of personal losses of the band members. In this context, lyric-wise "Adieu" looks to me as the feeling of a lost fight against death ... not of the own death, but of loved ones ... and to finally accept that there is nothing to stop it. A kind of sad acceptance of the inevitable. Video-wise they are referencing to the time when they had produced their album "Mutter" and almost parted and had to reinvend themselves - which they did fortunately. The outro might show what would have happend if they wouldn't win their fight to reinvent themselves. (And in case someone questions your translation: It was fine.)

And it says in that line: "No that will not happen." I don't know if "No miracle will happen" has the same meaning in English. But even if not, I don't have an idea for a better translation.

The church inside looks catholic too with the rich very detailed interior. Correct me if i'm wrong please guys. Again the red laser from the church at the start in a city. A church being a centerpoint in society around it for a long time. The violence and the drones all looking the same is people not thinking for themselves. Rebellion within our own society and violence. Extremists within a religion attacking each other. At the end a beautiful staircase but full of corpses. Very symbolic again. Wanting to go improve but at what price. The stairs are not there to go the first floor. Symbolism with the red laser, religion, drones, stairs, violence. It's a mirror again.
