Also she always give the pro tip of if you really love something but don’t want to pay that price for it you should always look at threadup or depop or even see if that brand has a sale or something that would make it cheaper than the nuuly price. Last year when I was pregnant, Nuuly was SO CLUTCH for maternity wear! As someone who loves fashion, and still had to go to work in a corporate setting, it was really hard finding cute maternity clothes that were in my style…and then it’s even harder trying to justify buying something that you’re gonna grow out of in a month or two? 😬 I used Nuuly from my second trimester all the way through to postpartum and LOVED it!! Literally every look is a win. The clothing rental experience definitely improves with time and experience. I've been doing it on and off for over 10 years now, starting w/ RTR though I feel their customer service has taken a dive in recent years.

I don’t get it. Why would people spend over $80 a month to rent clothes? I spend less than $40 a month on thrifted clothes that I keep for awhile and re-thrift to buy more. In my area, Sundays and Mondays are .$99 certain color days. Even at full price, I pay $5.99 for tops and $6.99 for pants and skirts. Giving up a piece I may love can be hard to do, but I am happy to think that someone else will be just as happy as I was when I found it.
I sub Nuuly and the reason is because I’m sitting here having $850 of clothes that I could never afford and actually would only want to wear a few times because I choose statement pieces. It’s not for everyone but it’s great for some of us.
