In 2019 I've bought a Stratocaster AMERICAN ORIGINAL
but when I knew of the new Stratocaster AMERICAN VINTAGE II 61 Fiesta Red I was shocked.
Very curious, I went to a Guitar Shop, and with my surprise I discover that they are completely different:
different radius, different neck shape but mostly... different sound!!!
Now I have changed strings on mine, but still they are very different
I have used a Marshall JTM studio combo, beatyfull combination!
Now, I struggle between buy the new guitar and sell the old one or keep it mine.
What do you think?

I have just bought the American vintage 2 sunburst, the original 60 is good also just more darker sounding, I love neck on the American vintage 2 unfortunately the case is cheaper not g and g leather like it use to be, now it’s Chinese junk varnish on the rosewood, I think they hired some newbees during the pandemic to meet the demand it’s a shame the American original was better setups and value with the G andG case

Is neck on the original 60's significantly larger than the Vintage II? I've heard its super chunky.
