Epic back-and-forth timelapse! Favorite part 6:40 - Axis at brink of defeat is joined by Spain, which probably faced against extremely low-strength divisions proceeds to clear western europe before running out of steam.
I wish there could be a counter on-screen of numbers over time per faction/major: fielded manpower, reserve manpower, and casualties. The total losses in these type of timelapses must be stupendous

Quite an expected outcome. With no US to fight the Japanese, they roflstomp Asia. The Allies take longer, a lot longer, to execute Operation Overlord successfully. But Italy being so successful in the Middle East and Africa was a bit of a surprise. And the UK being overpowered in this patch shows, no US means no lend-lease, so they should be hurting for planes and materials. Funny how Japan's AI always seems to go for Australia and New Zealand. Sure, it is only a few divisions but still.

I always feel the downside of the axis is the fact that Japan takes too long to declare on the soviets, if they did that right after defeating China, the game would be way in favor of the axis.
Japan irl would have probably never declared war on the soviets. In game, japan takes way too long in declaring war.

@@USELESSDCK The Japanese cancelled there invasion of Siberia up to lake Baikal and half of Mongolia on the 9th of August 1941, it was ment to start in September.
The USA oil embargo was on the 1st of August.
The paln was to make Russia fight a two front war however the USA interfered obviously.
The Japanese wouldn't go to war with both the USA and USSR, however it's plan was to successfully take the Dutch East Indies oil of 65million Barrels a year make the USA peace out preferably losing as little territory as possible, they wanted every island to be like Okinawa and Iwo Jima luckily it wasn't, then they would focus on taking out China and even war with Russia at the same time.
@@espy8406 Japanese troops under the Kodoha faction trained in Hokkaido to prepare for any possibility of conflict between Manchuria or Northeast Russia. The issue isn't with troop quality, the issue is largely with military power.
I’m surprised how UK managed to carry the Allies to victory without the US. But Spain almost ruined the efforts of UK.

Without the USA, the Eastern front yes Eastern front, would've at most resulted in the collapse of the Soviets and at least forcing the Soviets into a purely defensive war, because us provided the Soviets with so much food clothes military equipment radios expertise and some military vehicles and a lot of trucks

Lol, America started sending lend lease to the USSR in 1941, before Pearl Harbour. Industrial and economic aid, allowing the Soviet war industry to not only develop, but also patching up dismal Soviet logistics in the early stages of the war. You can ask Stalin and Zhukov about American lend lease.

What if there was a second great war? Basically no tank tech other than the great war tank and only the first tier of planes
That wouldn't make sense in how we evolve technologically. Wars make us advance faster or if there's a threat of war then we also advance faster and that's a a fact. Which means that after ww1 government would try to make their armies stronger by making new faster firing guns, huge armoured vehicles, etcetera
Which means that there wouldn't be a second great war since people would already move on from it.

Certainly the Soviets and British deserve the Lions share of the credit for defeating Nazi Germany, but the US (as well as China) deserve credit for defeating the Japanese as this sim showed.

US gave to ussr alone 180billion worth of everything to the soviet Union during their war against Germany. US outindustrialized everyone during ww2. Every nation combined would still not have an bigger industry than the us at the time.

DDay in real life was extrmely difficult to pull off already, and that was with a weakened German army which was focusing most of their efforts onto the Soviet Union in the East.
The USA not joining in would result in total defeat for Britain and at best a stalemate till most of mainland Europe outproduces the UK navy. The American aid and navy asqell as industrial and military power was extremely crucial for DDAY.

Interesting question. In my opinion, while it would have been harder, the USSR would have still won in the end and might have been more dominant. It would have depended on what Britian (for example they tried and apparently failed to invade Greece in 1944 in part to stop the Soviet advancing into East Europe), Germany, and Japan might have done.
Russians would be running barefoot without American lend-lease.
@@kacpermarynowski7931 fair enough mate and Britain would be in trouble too, but in the end, Germany would have had a better chance but invading the USSR cost them the war. Japan is a big question because they only get in due to the USA. Maybe if they attacked Britain in Asia or so they get in but who knows. However, given the geography, Japan was more at risk of an invasion at some point by either USSR or Britian.

No, the USSR has a pretty high national unity. It is not enough even if you captured Moscow, Leningrad, Minsk, Kyiv AND Stalingrad. You still need to march to the Urals or hit Vladivostok and a lot of Siberian land

alternatively you can use collaboration governments but even with 100% collaboration you still need to capture all the major cities and you WON'T get capitulation once you get to Moscow like you do with France
