Hey man! 👋 I'm planning to start a painting business. Unfortunately, my budget is low - medium. Will I look unprofessional without a van? Do I need a van, or can I use a car to carry the material / equipment for painting? 🤔
Thanks for the question. I worked out of a truck when I did everything. If you can't get your hands on a truck I think a car is fine. Especially if you're working solo. I think communication, appearance, and professionalism will mean a lot more to potential clients than having a van or a truck will. Just make getting a van or truck a business goal. Make sure you're charging enough and doing quality work and you wont have any problems staying busy.
