Does anybody else notice that when it comes to Pokémon remasters or flashback game music that there is no negativity in the comments, peaceful just like the music
If im not getting a remake i will generally make a new world and make a remake in the remake world. Who wants to join in? Its team galactic's ultimate goal

One of the best remasters I have heard on TH-cam. Idk if it's just me but this sounds like it's playing in a room... Or more like in an empty space almost? It sounds like it's saying "Hey I know I'm a recreation, I'm nostalgic!". It's like this song is made to be a memory of the original lake. Like it makes you remember the first time getting your starter Pokémon here or sereaching for the lake guardians. It's hard to explain but it gives me that vibe. Like it's trying to recreate the feelings you used to have but instead of straightforward creating the feelings, it gives them in a form of a memory.

Thats fucking cute. Normally i would cringe but it matches the music and can imagine a good gen 4 anime with these being the kind of lines. Too bad ash is in place rather than the actual game protagonists.. fuck ash no one likes him anymore, just age already
Back when I was 6, I got a DS for my birthday. I got 3 games that came with it and one was pokemon pearl. Since I was the biggest pokemon fan in the whole school I completed pokemon pearl before I even touched the other 2 games. I have a save file on the game with 500 hours on it up to now. It was the first pokemon game I've played and one of my favorite to this day. This is so good ZameJack, keep doing what you are doing.
Man I still have my copy of Diamond but it no longer works. Every now and then I try to start it up with the Hope's of adventuring around sinnoh once more but I guess not... Might buy a copy of pearl just for fun and play through all over again.
You guys are lame I have about 1200 hours on my emerald but I'm the game file it is only 470 bcuz hunting for shiny rayquaza and stuff this takes me back but too bad I didn't grow up with diamon pearl and platinum I'm emerald Ruby sapphire
i absolutely adore how you gave all three of the lakes relatively subtly different remasters that fit their positions in different ways verity: sounds the most like the original, to the point that little chime-y soundfont almost sounded like it was the exact same as the ds games' to me - it both makes sense the first version you hear would be the most familiar and with how mesprit is the being of emotion, it feels kind of appropriate it'd tug on the nostalgia strings the hardest valor: probably the most loud and powerful-sounding instrumentation, fitting with how azelf is the being of willpower and the offense-oriented member of the lake trio acuity: easily the quietest and most somber of all of them, fitting with how it's the highest up on the map and is more closed off in a frigid area compared to the other lakes, how you arrive there to see barry finally having to question his whole gung-ho cocky attitude, and how uxie comes off as the most quiet and stoic member i'm probably reading too much into or imagining some elements, but either way i really do think giving them each a different feel is a wonderful touch and they fit their respective lake guardians !

Sounds very Mystery Dungeon like..... anyway this is one of my favorite themes from gen 4 and I can't wait to hear this theme remade. I wouldn't mind at all if this was the official one
When i hear this theme i always imagine me standing at the opening of the forest, standing near the edge of the lake just looking ahead into the mist clouding this mysterious lake and its sacred cave. While i let the soft breezes play with my hair, let the warm sunrays breaking trough the leaves kiss my skin, and listen to the soft occasional cooings of Starlies.
I remember when I first got the game I was so young. I couldn’t figure out how to get out of the room because I didn’t know the little square in the corner was a staircase... as soon as I got out and was able to start my adventure I was so excited. Kids these days don’t even realize what they missed out on. Video games just aren’t the same anymore, especially the soundtracks

I love the combination of some added instruments with some nods to the original theme. Very well made, and also makes me nostalgic, as the Lake theme is tied for my favourite Sinnoh theme, along with Canalave City.
When these games finally get remade on the Switch its going to be great. Imagine a pokemon game set in a world like Breath of the Wild. Meh, it'll probably be a top down 2D game anyway.

I could hear this while walking on every route i wouldn't be mad... The route theme are great but this remastered version of Lake has such a special feeling to it. It makes me feel both happy and sad in a weird way.

I kinda understand why the remake looks like that, it was a different company doing the remake, while the pokemon team was working on pokemon snap and pokemon legends. But I feel like more than 1 person felt disappointed, I'm way more excited to play pokemon legends than this remake, but if someone likes this is ok, I'm just a bit disappointed they didn't show any new content in the game, so IDK if there will be an extra chapter after you finish the game.
