    I've been using them for just a week and can tell you that these are plagued with connection issues just like all of their other earbuds. Also, while they added some things to this separate app, it still has issues connecting with both of my phones sometimes and if it does connect it's extremely slow. Imo the biggest improvements they made are the battery life and the touch controls but can't they advantage of those with the continued connectivity issues

      Hi! Thanks for sharing. Are you using the buds with iPhone or andriod?

    How would you compare these to the Samsung buds 2 Pro ? The noise canceling is good but they hurt my ears

      I have the samsung buds 2 pro and the bose qc 2024 will be an improvement. The buds 2 pro had overheating issues and also had it's own fit issues. I was planning to compare the buds 3 pro to the qc but I had to return my buds 3 because the eartips popped off constantly and scratches.

    Between the new qc and the ultras which one would you say has better audio quality?

    Thanks for the great review. The outcome is a bit of a shame. I was thinking these would be a better value than the Pixel Buds Pro 2 which are $229 but having used the Pixel Buds Pro 1st gen for the last almost 2 years and generally being underwhelmed by them for their original $199 price point, I felt the Buds Pro 2 won't be worth the $229 price.
    With these Bose though, the durability you mentioned is definitely concerning. I use my buds, whichever ones are in my rotation, on a daily basis, primarily at work and it's surprising that a company with Bose's history failed at the basics of designing a durable set of earbuds.
    I'm also not a big fan of the larger design but as long as it's comfortable then that's the main thing.
    Have you used the LG Tone Free T80s before? I got a pair for a really good price and they are currently on sale for $149 and I'm really happy with them and I feel like not too many people are talking about these.

      Bose wants to make money while keeping their qc ultras in a higher price pt than the qc earbuds 2024. But we are seeing this everywhere in the bose lineup. They renamed the bose 600 smart soundbar to the bose smart soundbar. Qc45 became the quietcomforts. The soundlink was upgraded to soundlink 2 but same shape. On the other hand, bose is releasing lots of new colors for each headphone and earbud and speaker.

    For correction, these new QC Gen 2s do not have LDAC codec in them. Does one of your buds make an alien sound type effect noise when ANC is enabled? You have to be in a completely quiet environment to hear it

    • @TheFrenchGlow
      @TheFrenchGlow  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi! Yes no ldac. They have low latency gaming mode. No alien sound type noise with anc on and music off. I've just tried it to reconfirm

    I can tell you without a doubt that the mic are not better ...they are some of worst ever. I called my wife on them and she almost yelled at me she was so upset at the frustration of my voice and clarity until I switched bluetooth earphones. Its horrible ..everything else yes..is better for connection stability

    • @TheFrenchGlow
      @TheFrenchGlow  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi! Mic is better than the qc 2 and ultras but not in the same class as the airpods especially the airpod 4. I think it's the shape and technology. It's one of the main reasons I didn't include mic samples yet because results really vary.

    • @sinigangpapi3379
      @sinigangpapi3379 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@TheDigitalcrack that's a little over dramatic don't you think? Mic isn't even that all! It cuts out a lot of background noise while still be able to catch voice clearly. Airpods and galaxy buds 3 pro sound clarity are better for sure, but you can hear a lot of the background noise in the airpods, and voice get cut off often when noise is too loud on the airpods. The Galaxy buds 3 pro wins in this mic category.

    The fit is pure garbage...it's just as awful as Bose's buggy software and their incompetence with said software. I'm not surprised that they essentially said "screw it", and attached a new companion app to these earbuds.
    The fit, the most important part of any earbud, is the reason why the QC 2 and QC Ultra didn't work for me. Bose has this "idea" that that useless "stability" band will actually offer some stability for the earbuds when it comes to them staying in your ears. As I said before...not for me - they fall out no matter what I do, and the sweat that accumulates from the earbuds being in my ear for any amount of time only accelerates this infuriating experience.
    The weight of their obnoxiously large earbuds can't be offset by those flimsy "stability" bands, and I tried all sizes...so there's that. I don't know why they are afraid to return to that superior wingtip the 1st gen QC earbuds had...the "stay hear" thing. Most of everything else about these earbuds is a step in the right direction...outside of their questionable software and mics. But...I will never know because without a competent fit, nothing matters.
    Speaking of obnoxious size...I know they wanted to press reset on their earbuds...but they shouldn't have settled on that obnoxiously huge, prehistoric case and earbud size that the 1st gen QC earbuds has for these earbuds. Starting over doesn't mean reinvent the [unpolished] wheel.

      The wingtips did work so well and we saw that the Beats fit pro improved it.
