FJ Clutch Pedal Squeak Solved!

There's a plastic grommet that was broken on my FJ Cruiser clutch pedal assembly. I discovered it while I was greasing the spring in this video. In a future video I'll replace the grommet.

I haven't replaced it. The grease that I put on it is still holding up

Question: I have a “squish” noise that happens each time I push in the break pedal. (FJ 2014 Automatic)
Not near as loud as you clutch pedal squeak, but still definitely bothersome. Dealer has no answers and none online either, although plenty have reported the problem. ( my old ‘86 accord had this, turned out to be a worn bushing type pad when the peddle returned to resting position, but not with the FJ ). Any HELP/THOUGHTS greatly appreciated.
Another GREAT vid on how to get into the guts of my FJ. Will eventually add lights/switches for the ARB bumper.

Not sure. How well does the brake pedal hold pressure if you press it hard and hold it?
