It's so disheartening hearing anyone (on either side) rooting for a particular politician and excusing all of their bad decisions or opinions simply because they bat for your team.
And to be clear, I understand that someone may have to vote for a candidate they aren't totally excited for because of who's on the ballot. I'm not talking about them necessarily. Biden lost me but given the alternative option I may just have to give him my vote unfortunately. I'm particularly upset with those who support candidates dogmatically, who let their party leaders dictate their opinions. I like Pete too, but it would be a bit of a stretch to go from Secretary of Transportation to president. He might get there eventually. He is young with bright prospects ahead of him. I am thinking that Gavin Newsome might be the next Democratic star. As governor of one of the US's largest states he has a lot of relevant experience.

Yes you can make the claim that the cost of living is high because there is so much economic success and it is desirable to live there, BUT living affordability is a plus, not a minus.
@@donhoverson6348 I don't think it's a stretch. He ran for president in 2020, and he was a mayor for several years, plus a veteran. He has a lot to offer. Most of all, he's 42. Everybody has been saying we need a younger president. He fits that bill.
