    The Ultra X Pro was a much better-than-expected board in almost every way. In the current traditional E-board category, Meepo's Voyager and Backfire's Zealot S appear to be competitors, but the reason why I recommend the Ultra X Pro is that it can be used with a wide truck with increased stability and a pneumatic tire.

    This is the review I've been waiting for & you did not disappoint!! I have this board on order, hope I love it as much as my Voyager (I've added Waterborne Surf Adapter with CF Extender, huge improvement to carve, stability, comfort & turning radius!) Bravo, 11/10!! :)

    I will start by saying I’m new to the eboard community. I noticed the battery manufacturer was Jingnoo New Energy. This board is advertised to have a Samsung brand battery.

    *It's a good day when I see awesome close up shots of a board on your channel bro!*
    ⚡👌🏼👌🏼⚡
    I like the Ultra and now the Ultra X & X Pro, mainly cos of the trucks, normal vs wiiide trucks... I'd defo swap the thick riswrs for thin ones - I always do lol 😂
    Good battery size, not too heavy 👌🏼 Nice to see Hobbywing ESC on this Pro version.

    • @nottherealmccoy4955

      Any downsides to thinner risers & what size would you recommend?

    • @KAMiJUINs

      I thought the same thing as you and tried it. However, when switching to a thin riser pad, the front was fine, but the back seemed to cause interference between the motor and the ESC enclosure. If the ESC enclosure had been moved a little further forward in design and a thin riser pad had been used, it would have secured much better stability.
      I also feel like 14s 2p was enough this time. It made the board lighter and the lightness I could get was great.
      Thank you bro :) as alwayssss

    • @KAMiJUINs

      There are no particular drawbacks. Rather, it can be an advantage in all aspects of exercise performance. However, if the enclosure is large, it can get too close to the ground. Usually, 1/8" (5 mm) is used a lot when using thin riser pads.

    You always have a consistent eye for detail. No one better could do a review of a board than someone who hand crafts them himself and knows the good and bad of parts and what that does for the overall experience.
    I wonder, in your personal experience can you feel the difference in ride power and endurance when dealing with different s&p of the cell packs? I've had friends talk about 6s2p before and now people are talking about 16s4p, what a step up

    Alright a new version of the Ultra X is here, awesome !
    14S Battery instead of the 13S
    Hobbywing 9028 ESC instead of the 80A Explorer 13S V2.0 ESC
    Bashguards included, these were not there in the previous version, nice !
    Boosted style 105's instead of the Cloudwheel Hydro's 105's

    • @WeSk8E

      @@aleshamahon If it is your first, the 14S will propably be easyer to master as is it fitted with the 9028 Hobbywing ESC, this gives a smoother acceleration curve, less jerky pick up after releasing the throttle. Also the 14s battery gives a little bit more range then the 13s does, the ESC on the 13S is a bit tricky to master, more jerky on the control but overall also a nice setup to roll with. 🤙⚡🛹

    • @aleshamahon

      @@WeSk8E That's great insight, much appreciated. For our riding (that includes some grass fields/parks and hard packed smooth gravely trails) I think the 150mm pneumatics are a must but seems the 14S version doesn't offer that as an upgrade like the 13S does, adding the off road wheels separately to my cart doubles the shipping cost to NZ$230! The 13S with both tyres means I don't pay shipping twice... that's the only reason I haven't committed yet. Perhaps the stock 14S 105 Boosted tyres will suffice and actually be better for learning (more stable) and I can later buy the 150mm...

    • @WeSk8E

      @@aleshamahon We are rolling on the 110R Rovers from Cloudweel for this reason, like to maintain the longboard feel a bit, maybe in a while also trying out the 150mm's. For now the 110R are all we need for a smooth ride and once every now and then a grass patch or rougher road. 🤙⚡🛹
      Also, the boosted wheels seems like a better option then the 105 hydro's as these are quite hard, with the wide trucks and good carving, they will tend to slide out because of this.

    • @KAMiJUINs

      I'll choose the Ultra X Pro.
      The long wheel base makes it more stable and the flexible deck more comfortable when riding. I think it also produces energy efficiency because it uses a voltage of 14S.

    I weight 105kg/231lbs what range do u think I'd get? secondly, what other smaller pulley can I fit on this board that would still accommodate the stock 105mm soft street wheels? lastly, should I go for this or the Ultra Pro? what do you think I'll be missing out on going for the Ultra X?(non Pro version) lastly, how do we put back the screw cover since you had to break the seal the remove it, does it click back in place or it just hast to be glued back on?

    • @KAMiJUINs

      Well... I don't know the range you can get either.
      The second question is hard to understand. However, since it is a basic 40T pulley (Kegel core) installation, I think you can buy 36T or 33T from the aftermarket and use it.
      If I were you, I would definitely choose Pro X.
      You just have to stick it

    • @Sir-Kay
      @Sir-Kay 5

      @@KAMiJUINs The 2nd question was, can I use those 33-36T pulleys with the stock 105mm street wheels, or they only work with the 40t pulleys? unfortunately the local dealer around here only has the non Pro version in stock & I can also pay in instalments without any interest while If I were to buy it from the Tyne website, they offer instalments but, with interests. Last question is, what am I getting for paying 150-200usd more for the Pro?
