Can you explain the hotkeys for quickly moving from base to army to expand? You're bouncing around the map instantly and no one new understands how or why
You can do it 3 ways. - Click on the minimap in bottom corner - Use Shift + F2, F3, or F4 to set a location hotkey, then press F2/F3/F4 to go to the location - Hotkey a unit or building (0-9), and double tap the hotkey to jump. So cntrl + 1 would hotkey my command center to 1 if I selected it. Pressing 1, then 1 immediately again, would cause my screen to center on that commamd center.
These are still the best guides available. Even the F to S guides are worst They do Troll Builds til they are out of average MMR by the time theyre doing effective builds theyre playing 500 apm and stopped explaining anything
How many tanks must Terran have to overpower lurkers that are under a dark swarm? What I mean is, at what point will that zerg strategy stop working because the tanks kill the lurkers so fast? I feel like 4-5 tanks can still be overcome.
Once burrowed the lurkers are invincible. If you mean getting the lurkers into the tank line, then probably over a control group they can die before they can burrow... You only see those numbers versus mech, and versus mech rarely are large numbers of lurkers used.
That's a 4 pool from computer. Cheese/allin. Defense is to pull and try to drill with workers as a defense and buy time to get units out. There is a good chance you die to that build though. Especially if you don't get scout it with some warning
My strategy when using Zerg against Terran is first making hatchery at nearby resource node. Building defenses on the expansion. Fend off first Terran attack consists about 12 marines and 3 siege tanks. Rush to Hive and make Greater Spire. Then, build Guardians. The reason I'm making Guardians because Terran AI are making a lot of Siege Tanks and ground units that tearing apart my ground forces so easily, so Guardian is a best choice to wipe out the majority of Terran's ground forces. It is my strategy though. Every Zerg players have their own strategy when using Zerg. So, no offense.
@@PULAG The first 5 minutes, I rush to second expansion to upgrade my Hatchery to Lair, and build Spire to make Mutalisks. Before the first Terran attack, I already have 10-12 Mutalisks and a cluster of Sunken Colonies for defense. Sunken Colonies to distract enemy marines, and then I use my Mutalisks to destroy the Tanks. I use this strategy against Terran AI and the AI have almost consistent build order that are very easy to memorise. But against an experienced Terran player, it's a different story.
He sucked but when u ate an ultra i had a heart palpitation 😂 i wish you did like the protoss video and actually played the computer because as far as starting fresh the computer hurts egos. You showed in the protoss video macro wins so practice, this video was great but I feel like you still showed macro win even though he was almost as bad as a computer but their build orders are absolutely worse. Thank you for the content 🙏 I always enjoy.
Great learning about this build, but when you're doing one thing in the game, and talking about some other completely different scenario, it's very distracting and hard to follow
Will keep in mind. I have some more detailed short guides where I go into some of the specifics, but for these guides there are important things that need to be mentioned that don't necessarily happen in the given game, requiring me to talk occasionally about situations not occurring on screen.
only find the evolution "nooby" ? 1) at min 4:01 you should atack SCVs and win the match. 2) 9/9 then overlord and then 2 drones and 250minerals??? WTF or pool or 2nd hatch (never 2 drones, no reason). 3: when you had 300min, your drone should be already at the 2nd hatch site and build it imediatelly. Conclusion: a lot of wasted time (this is only my opinion, i'm not PRO and i'd be happy if somebody will explain that i'm not right). You should know exactly ur plan: if you want to make muta - when your pool is ready u have to have enough gas and minerals to upgrade ur hatch imediatelly. If u want to do lurkers - when ur hatch is upgraded you need to have ready 200min+200gas and so on. I didn't see a plan in ur actions.
1) Sure. But I'm making a build order guide, and showing concepts. It's obvious if you can win with lings, win with lings. But I want the game to go on so I can talk concepts 2) Because that's what you do for 12 hatch? If you make second hatch at 9, you sacrifice a drone to make it...and you don't have enough minerals to make more drones right away when overlord finishes....so you end up with a weaker economy. 12 hatch gives most drones the fastest. 3) Yes. Technically true. That wouldn't be "optimal". However, being 3s slow to make a hatch is not a major concern. ---- You don't upgrade lair the second pool finishes. You would have to take a crazy early gas. This would mean that you have barely any drones mining. If you did this, you would start lair right away, but wouldn't be able to make drones for a second gas and make enough lurkers, nor would you be able to get a third hatchery. The plan here is rather simple: get as big of an economy as fast as you can without taking risks. You don't need fastest possible lurkers. You just need lurkers fast enough to be able to take a third when you want. Getting lurkers faster than this means less drones, and a weaker economy. I'm not getting lurkers for attacking, they are for defense and getting an economy. So the goal here is big eco -> lurkers in time for terran marine ball with range + stim in order to get 3rd base safely -> fast hive to get defiler to survive vs siege tank/vessel/marine push and also to swarm down to take 4th base -> with 4 gases go ultra and over run the terran player.
As someone who has wanted to get into broodwar ladder, thank you ✨️💜

very good build, and well explained. Thank you!

Great guide! Thank you

Btw, in 2023 if you get scouted with this hatchery first, you're going to get annihilated.

"How does flash do this shit"

How do you deal with Zerglings? I tried this on a computer and got rushed by 6 lings. 😢

Easier said than done. Try explaining lol because you say oh just defend against the rines tanks...k..how? Tanks are mowing me the fk over.
