I watched some scenes a while ago so it may not be accurate but: Basically, the FL is older (maybe 20s to 30s I forgot) and is an artist. She's is/was in a relationship with a guy (not darren wang). She basically is unable to create art like she used to so she happens to get these magical chocolates. Once she eats them, her teen self appears within her current body and takes over. As a teen, she was young and able to create art easily, so she uses that so she can make art again. However, her teen self meets someone (darren wang) and falls for him and starts a relationship with him- which the og/current self is against. Obviously, her teen self cannot be with darren wang since that version of her, is only the past. They fight back and forth to gain control of the body as the teen continues to go against the FL's wishes. Darren wang pretty much gets fed up with all the confusion as the FL switches back and forth, and whatever is going on with her other partner. The chocolates start to run out and it looks like the FL gets into an accident. Now as the FL is unconscious the both of them talk within her mind and come to an agreement as the teen is unable to be in the present anymore. They're both sad, but the teen agrees to go back and the FL can have control of her body completely now. If I remember correctly, FL becomes successful and is able to do art again. It looks like her partner tries to make amends and tries to start their relationship again by repenting and confessing his love for her again in public. Her friend asks if she would reconsider him again, and she smiles. The movie ends and it's pretty much an open ending as we don't get an answer if she says she would accept him. Darren looks to have not ended up with her and moved on with his life. - My thoughts: Though I do think that it's sad that darren and FL's teen self didn't end up together, I think that's pretty realistic. As I don't think it's possible for them to be together, since the teen personality is only an old version of herself and not the current one. Pretty much impossible to return to the mindset of how she used to be when she was a kid. That and how the current FL never liked darren in that way. The only way it would've been possible is if they were two separate people. Some of the lessons from this movie are: Before she ate those chocolates and lost her passion for art, she followed her current bf and chose to focus on her bf and not her art. Even as a teen, her teen self wants to choose a man over her art. Teen version wants to give everything up and follow darren anywhere and everywhere to be with him but realizes she can't do so. So in the end, both the teen and current FL decide to focus on themself and their art and no longer let a man stand in the way of their decision.

He is selfish tho, he should have understood that she is a lot older than him and she can’t be with him every time he wants her too.
