  • We tell you where to find the $10 craps tables. Also, the $1 bubble craps and video roulette machines as we discuss an overall GREAT week in Vegas (with one exception).

South point is my casino of choice. I stay there all the time. The strip seems too high priced and too many people. Downtown is better and more reasonable price wise. But I'm an old guy and Vegas has changed from the good old days so I find South point is most convenient and accommodating for me. Do play craps but from now on when I see a Cris I'll move on. Sorry you had a Bummer experience there but maybe you should complain officially to his higher ups. Plus maybe you're too good of a thrower and they fear your dice.

Before this experience at South Point, I would agree wholeheartedly with your assessment. I doubt they fear my dice tossing though. :) Thanks for watching and commenting Butch!

South point has to fix their attitude toward craps players or else they will lose a lot of players. I had the same experience with the pit boxman and he passed the dice on me when he said I didn't hit both dice at the end when I did. I was on a good roll and his sh_t ass attitude was trying to break my concentration. They hate when they lose $$$. This old mean box man sure has a crap stick up his you know what!

Yeah. I don't know if it's the same guy or if they have several with a bad attitude. I've always enjoyed South Point, especially their video poker and their poker room, but my experience really turned me off to SP. Too many places to play in Vegas to put up with attitude from the box man. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I live in Vegas and go to the buffet at Southpoint frequently. I used to play at the craps tables but quickly figured out that they are poorly trained because they treat people like crap for the most part. I can also tell you that Chris the box man was not having a bad day, he is an ahole. I saw him get into a shouting match with a dude in a wheel chair and then have security kick him out. He is rude as hell. Not to be outdone their security people think they are cops and treat people like criminals. I left my cell phone on the table in the buffet and our server which we have known for many years went to hand it to the manager which also knows us. Within minutes I came back to pick it up and security was there but the manager still had the phone. She looked at me and said, "you left your phone" as she stretched it out to hand it to me. The idiot security guard grabbed it from her hand and said I have to prove it is mine. So I said give it to me and I will show you my ID. Instead of giving it to me he opens the wallet phone cover and starts to rifle through it. I blew a gasket and said WTF are you doing, you have zero right to look through my phone when I have clearly told you it is mine and the manager has verified that it is mine. I then just snatched it from his hand and told the manager to get a supervisor so I can file a complaint. Bright side was an apology and this idiot got suspended for a week. Only because I enjoy the buffet do I go there. They are jerks all around. Except for the people in the buffet they are very nice.

Chris is the original “craps nazi”. He is miserable to deal with. I won’t shoot dice there when he is working. Thankfully you can find times when he is off and the other craps floors are fine. South Pointe poker room is packed all the time and really a fun place to play in. Sports and race books are the best in Vegas.

😂 Southpoint must be the notorious POS for craps players. The first time I got kicked out of Southpoint was the year it opened we had a timeshare across the street and me and my Young Bride decided to go across and play craps. After a great rolling session, where they never complained about my role. One random player showed up with $10,000 bankroll and made about $32,000 on my roll. After he left they need said you can't roll craps here anymore today we're shutting the table down you've been batting over 300. Which was Chris the individual you mentioned by the way he's been there quite a long time. I've had several bad run-ins over the years with Southpoint with Randy and I hear he was recently was fired being one of the worst crap Pit Bosses I've ever experienced but I enjoyed the environment and the overall locals Casino feel so much that I kept going back because it was close to my best friend's house. We have now made it a joke for those of us who like to roll together that if you're not kicked out of Southpoint you can't join our club.😂 pro-tip just down the road is the M Resort and they have $10 tables week days with ATS. Southpoint is just Plain Jane crap table with no fire b or allcall Smalls and honestly one of the worst set of craps management in all of Vegas based on my 30 years experience. Right now Green Valley is probably my favorite casino with the all tall small tables and they do do a $10 table during the day. But have one of the best rooms and I enjoy the off-strip experience. Also Ellis is my second favorite place to go because you're in the center of everything with a HomeTown feeling casino that you can literally wear sweatpants and a tracksuit if you don't want to dress up and don't feel out of place😂 PS Ellis rooms we're updated recently and are not bad if you're on a budget. And in the morning I had $5 craps less than three other players at the table

I'm with you on GVR and Ellis. I've been in the M Resort casino, but haven't pitched dice there. I'll be sure to give them a try on my next trip. Thanks for the tip!

Agree won't visit South Point if Box person is picky about dice tossing and setting. I’ve had that happen to me many years ago on Fremont Street. I think maybe El Cortez. Recently had a stick man at 4 Queens insist “ your shots must hit the middle of the back wall” “ we don’t allow corner shots “. Funny thing was my dice were bouncing into the corner sometimes and I was hitting the table and wall about half way between middle of the wall and the hook. That was the dumbest heat I have had so far. As they say “anything can and will happen in a craps game”

As you know, slots run on a RNG. Bubble craps don't, unless the casinos are using magnets to control the dice. Then you have to ask yourself if they would risk losing their casino license by cheating on a $1 craps machine. That doesn't seem like a very good business decision, so I'm comfortable playing them.

Ellis Island has a nice casino. It was small when it first opened. Good place to eat. Sam's Town has a good casino and I liked the food there. My Late wife would like the penny slot machines. Don't like staying on the strip, it gets too crowded on Las Vegas Blvd. Main Street Station is a nice Casino. When I lived there, in the '90's, they had the best buffett downtown. Plaza is nice. El Cortez is a nice Hotel with a good casino. Orleans is okay, not as good as Sam's Town though. Used to like the Maxim, they went out of business and it got torn down. Silverton, that used to be Boom Town. Their buffett was really good. Don't think I'll play at South Point Casino either. Ellis Island has a $5 table all the time. Don't like MGM. Most casinos on Las Vegas Blvd have very high minimums. You should try Jerry's Nugget. The coffee shop is really good. Locals place. I think they have a $3 craps table. Very informative report.

It’s ok to stab someone in the lobby but don’t hit the wall and all hell breaks loose! 😂 I love the SP been their hundreds of times but they are very strict on those dice tables. He’s not exaggerating. It happened to me also. I had the audacity to miss the wall with one die two times in a row and the box goon went nuts. So the next roll I hit the back wall so hard the dice literally ricocheted back to the other side. Then he said I was rolling to hard and passed the dice. After the next shooter assumed the roll and seven out I told him to go F himself and wondered off into the night.

I have to add one more story about Southpoint. I took my family there which says a lot about a casino when I'm willing to bring my kids to a place and this was the second to last trip I had made to Southpoint over the last 30 years. That night I don't normally drink told my wife I was going to go down and play craps and I was going to drink so she limited me to my standard $300 and I gave her my ATM card😂. Went down to the table began to enjoy myself with some adult beverages and there was a large crowd where I was able to squeeze in at the end of the table not my normal position. I asked the table what's going on and a couple people answered it's my birthday. Not something normal to have two people at the table with their birthday one nice lady and one gentleman. So I ask them what's your favorite numbers they both answered hard 10. I said well I'm surprised you didn't pick 12 if you're going to pick any number and we laughed and I said well go ahead and put your bets down I put $10 on the hard way and the birthday boy put down $100 the birthday girl put down 25. I rolled for 2 hours and my first role was five five. I also encourage the table to place tips for the dealers during the entire two-hour roll. Part of my FunShui gambling experience. I enjoy seeing the dealers excitement when they are in the game too. The next morning when I was leaving the birthday boy and his wife and kids took a moment to talk to me and my family as we were all packing up to leave. It was a really nice experience. Unfortunately the crap stuff primarily the management and their Soup Nazi like control of the table and lack of any bonus games like ATS leaves it as a tourist trap for those who are at an event like archery or NASCAR. You'd be better off just taking your gambling money and going to a different casino and start building points there.

Do it on my way home from work. You can't get rich, but I believe you can make around $2000 -$2500 a month because a losing sequence happens very rarely. Split it between 2 casinos. If you’re renting a car I would absolutely recommend Any of the Station Casino properties. They, Stations are all very well run and great staffs and for those crap players looking for a firm consistent craps table, all Stations properties tables are set up the same.
If you like a trampoline like table please consider playing @ the Golden Nugget.

The chopper can attract heat when thrown well.

I've never had an issue with it before. Of course, I've only thrown it for a short time.

Thanks! It was a birthday gift from my kiddos a few years ago. Two great men in that photo!

Thanks for the report. Several of us from Kentucky are heading out there in October. We are staying at the Sahara but plan on visiting many of the casinos on the strip as well as downtown.

Best of luck Scotty. I lived in the Louisville area (Middletown) for 5 years as a kid. We'd often go back to visit our neighbors during the summer after we moved to Texas. Fond memories of the Bluegrass State!

@@GamblersUniversity1 What a small world. I grew up in Louisville and recently bought a home in Douglass Hills which is right next to Middletown. Love it here. I hope to use some of your craps and roulette strategies in October. We plan on staying in the sportbook on Saturday so we can watch and bet on college football. Big fan of your channel.

I LOVE THE SOUTH POINT AND DON’T PLAY ANY TABLE GAMES, JUST VIDEO POKER SO I’M GOOD. THE SP HAS THE BEST EMPLOYEES AND FOOD TOO. SAD TO SEE THIS BAD EXPERIENCE WITH YOU TWO. I DON’T KNOW CRAPS RULES BUT IF THAT’S THE ONLY PLACE BUSTING UR CHOPS, I WOULD DO THE SAME. FOR ME, THE STRIP HAS TOO MANY DOPERS/HOMELESS/GHETTO PEOPLE, SUPER CROWDED AND THE FOOD IS A RIPOFF, HOTELS ARE A RIPOFF AND CALIFORNIA GANG BANGERS AND TRASH SO I ALWAYS STAY AND PLAY AT THE FOUR QUEENS DOWNTOWN. THE PALACE BAR IS MY PLACE FOR MANY YEARS. THEY HAVE SCUMBAGS DOWNTOWN TOO BUT I CAN HIT UP 8 CASINOS AND A HUNDRED FOOD PLACES IN WITH A 10 MINUTE WALK. I WOULD NOT STAY DOWNTOWN WITH MY WIFE BUT SHE HATES VEGAS SO IM GOOD GOING 6-8 TIMES A YEAR WATCHING FOOTBALL WITH MY BUDDIES.
    SEE YOU IN LAS VEGAS…..🎰🎰🎰🎰🎰🎰🎰🎰🎰🎰🎰🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I felt the same about South Point before this trip, but the incident I described was just too over the top to ignore. I'm also with you on playing at off strip properties. Best of luck in Vegas!
