I am so happy....all of you musicians were BORN, I really do. I love you guy's parents, for birthing such amazing musician specialists into this mundane world of hell. Life became tolerable from just experiencing this intricate musicianship and master class contribution. I don't understand why music does to the brain and spirit as it does. But I NEED it and can't balance out my life without it. It's another language another form of LOVING someone if thee creators want it to be. For my mental health.....please stay safe and healthy.

The moment when you begin listening to a song & find you cannot understand it should be a humbling proof that your own ethnocentric exposure to music has shortchanged you. But if you begin to listen, you will begin to understand at some level, and eventually comprehend that sorting differences in music by culture is the first step to appreciating any music at all & forgetting about its cultural aspect while you listen.

This is so amazing at so many levels... Percussion arrangements are superb, such as counterpoint voice fixes; Hunter's playing just steals the show, Michael's bass line is very simple and upfront but somewhat intoxicating... All topped up with Ms. Baca's voice deep feeling (whom I've never heard of before). I do love snarky puppy's instrumental stuff above all, but this is just so awesome!!. It's simply moving!

Who writes the scores/ conducts for Snarky Puppy? Just amazing. The closest I've ever been involved with doing anything close to music on this scale was when I was in high school being picked to be in regional choir. They would do tryouts at this event called the Solo/ Ensemble Festival, where students would be critiqued on their performances, both instrumental and vocal. So exhilarating to be in there working with people that can grasp the concepts, as well as being directed by conductors that can explain their interpretation of what they are shooting for when covering a piece of music. Anyway, thanks for posting this.
