- Riding Psychosis is no easy task. The athletes competed against each other in a race down one of, if not the steepest trails in B.C. But to come out on top it requires a fine mixture of confidence, traction and the right bike. Find out what types of bikes, tires, and rotor sizes the athletes are running in the 6th event of the 2020 Clif Crankworx Summer Series

Say Maxxis Assegai again. Say Maxxis Assegai again I dare you, I double dare you, say 2.5 Maxxis Assegai DD 3C MaxxGrip one more time!
Good to know I'm running the right tyre. For some reason I can't go half the speed of these guys though. Must be the pressures...
This is the funniest comment no 🧢
I double down dare you to say that again...
Disclaimer: "Not a single back wheel was turned in the making of this video..."
It is steep and loose AF though... :D
This video brought to you by Maxxis tires.
Anyone else absolutely LOVING this pinkbike content???
Some lovely shots of that Norco proto in there... 3:21
Absolutely love this track I rode the snot out of it for 2 summers about 16 years ago, all the trails on mt 7 are nuts
This is awesome!!
Continental Tires are so damn under rated for some reason. I've found they're the only tires that withstand constant abuse - stronger beads and less belt breaks. Super tacky Black Chili is so grippy and I rock the Mountain Kings and Trail Kings - Swap between the two quite often. Keep it brapping boys and girls!
they're okay, I don't think they have anything comparable to a WTB vigilante fast/grippy/durable
0:08 “Need more travel~” amen!!! 😊
oh man i remember the trail from Seasons movie!
Well i think Maxxis has the monopol for enduro tyres
amazing trail
So, parachutes are an option?
Mandatory, actually.
Girl your killing it with these vids as of late 💣
That ending haha
they are talking about traction but locking rear wheel up instead thats not traction.
I guess it's that steep, eh?
Sssshhhh.... they'll put ABS on MTB!
Thats what happens when you are hitting stuff that steep and loose.
Does any one uses saracen.? With dhr ll tires. 🤔
That’s cool but I’d rather the grim donut
Maxxis stock just went up 200% because of this!!!
What glasses is she wearing at 0:11? Thanks
The glasses are smith wildcats

This Trail or the steep stuff in Morzine....what is steeper ?
The steepest point on this track is 69 degrees and that lasts for about 30 meters
So bummed for Kasper though
MAXXIS Advertising video.
Did anyone not run Maxxis?
All sponsored team riders, so, they run what they get.
3:05 was that a DHF as a BACK TIRE?
Timothey Szczepanski yep it has been pretty popular for some riders to run rear dhfs
I have it rear and front.
People have been running DHF at the back for years
running dhf on the rear is more predicable and doesnt drift around as much in my opinion
I think it drift quite alot :D
Pro's?
0:09 Hello Mattie McConaughey
Hi
hi
Sponsored by maxxis by any chance 🤔
Maxxis are actually trash. They're probably using them because they're sponsored, not because they're good. Some DH World Cup riders are on FB with "normal" profiles, befriend them, talk to them and ask them about "the actual best" stuff. When it comes to tyres NO ONE ever says "Maxxis", no one, not even once!!!
Waaaaassssssss uuuuuuuuuuuppppppppppppp
Everyone knows maxxis is the best
Hey Christina, I know my equipment well.
The difference between walking/pushing bike and being able to ride up that steep middle uphill section was probably 15 seconds. I am surprised there were not more top riders on Enduro bikes. Maybe a sponsor influenced decision, or they just wanted DH practice and didn't care too much about results.
Track times are like 12-15 minutes (previous track record was just under 13 min by Sam Hill, I'm sure it was beaten this weekend on modern bikes). 15 seconds gained on the uphill is more than offset by how much faster you can ride a DH bike while saving energy via bigger wheel travel. This isn't like the Garbanzo DH where there's like 2 minutes of sprint pedaling.
🤔🤷❓
i didnt see any reason to run suspension in this video, these poor people dont know what a fun bike is.
Variety? There wasn't 😄
Grim doughnut
Egg
Please let pink bike see this
no
yes
Maybe
They uploaded the video, pretty sure they saw it already. XD
4:02 We all know that there are other riders and bicycle companies who are very good ...! All these days in your latest videos all the same riders and all the same bike companies are presented, do not become exactly the same as GMBN. You can do better than that ...!
( SORRY AND THANKS )
Everyone's stuck in their home country because of Covid. They can't even get Mike K over the border for the XC field test. Get used to seeing the same few Canadians for a while.
@@erich8258 Man @4.02 is a Canadian GT rider who is absolutely a monster rider...! Αnd GT is on the comersial plates of the event and yet they have not been mentioned anywhere ...! Do not buy anything they sell you ...!
@@bananasstuff3344 I remember you from another comment in another video (I am not surprised by your answer) ...!
Why PINKBIKE are not mentioned at all to the rider and the company?
Why does GMBN use the GT bike which is almost 10 years old, as a thumpnail and they compare it with a modern bike ...?
If GMBN is sick they can take some pills ...!
Skills With Phil has made three sort videos for CRANKWORX 's TH-cam channel, why PINKBIKE didn't post them on the web site...?
