Great job. I love your review. 🇺🇦♥️🇨🇿 Czech Republic do a lot for Ukraine , we are very thankful for that. And the song is really good and catches my heart ❤ Дякую-Děkuji😊
very well made reaction i enjoyed it. and i also agree with many points you talked about ... if vesna could be in top 5 she needs a 5 star performance and a 4-5 star voice and she has 3 months to improve so lets see later how this goes :D
I really like your video!🙂 I interpret lyrics of this song like all the countries of the world are sisters as all the people are brothers and sisters and it is about time to finally acknowledge that and respect that. I have russian friends who left Russia long ago and they are horrified with what is Russia doing to Ukraine and trying to help as much as they can, they offered their house here in Czechia to share with Ukrainian families and many more and these Russians shouldn’t be seen as bad people just because of their nationality, same as the russian girl in the band. I thing it shows great message that there are brave and carring russians who dissagree with regime of their country and we should not forget that. It is about the people, not religion, nationality or skin color, sexuality and so on. It is about having the right to live free and happy life and being able to choose my future acording to my free will and pasion in life. This is what I see in this song and the motto Chose love over power❤
I would say the poor live performance comes to česká televize not having the budget for national selection (honestly nobody cares about national selection here and czech televizion is having problems with budgeting (most money comes as a charge from owners of TV and it was not raised for years+a lot of the people do now own tv these days but stil use its archive on the internet to vatch its tv shows/news...) so it is understanable for them not to waste money on this). Also the oficial music video has english lyrcys and it is on youtube so understanding what it is about will not be as much of a problem
That makes sense. I just hope Vesna will have some budget for planning the Eurovisiom performance. You see in the video that they know what they are doing
What a lovely analyses, thank you! I always say that this song is more like last year´s Moldova´s entry (that one was about two countries who are still close despide their harsh seperation during the ussr days). It´s not about litteraly uniting nations (like Putin is saying his stuff) but more about the forgotten strenght. I come from a generation that did not grew up during communism, but my parents and older sister did. It brought the whole nation down, once strong and proud country now full of self hatered. It destroyed my grandparents who were againts the regime. And to me, this song is about reclaming the glory of those slavic countries that suffered for decades, whom are seen as "less" by the west. It´s preaching love, which is really needed. People here are starting to be fed up with the UA refuges and then you have those bad apples who are actually doing rude stuff and just taking advantage of our country, ugnragetful for the help we´ve provided. So there is this divide even between people. And having this - to sing to, no matter who you are and remebering, this hatered is exactly what the soviet union did to us all those years ago and the only way to break the cycle is to unite. Bonus: I think it has already been mentioned but the live preformance was not the artist´s fault, it was horribly done. Based on their previous songs, the live preformance should be much better then the one on ČT.
No vas a encontrar en el euro festival un directo como este, con una voz y puesta en escena sublimes.que pena que en Europa solo se vote la mediocridad,lo pachanguero,y lo mismo de todos lo años.
Both Czechia and Czech Republic are equally valid names for our country, please don't spread misinformation :) Many countries have had a similar short name for a long time, for example Slovakia being short for the Slovak Republic. Czechia was officially adopted as the short name in 2016, it's used by the UN, EU and NATO, amongst others. A lot of languages had a similar short name for Czech Republic long before that, e.g. the German "Tschechien" or the French "Tchéquie". I myself as a Czech nowadays prefer to use Czechia as it's a lot more succint. The creator is completly fine using the short name in the video ;)
I hope that better staging and sounding during eurovision proper will showcase the amazing harmonies these ladies are capable of.
Thank you very much

They should not Polish the song as you said, rather they should Czech it :)) Sorry for the pun, good video!
Haha thanks and good pun 😜
