I enjoy driving our Panda 4x4 0.9 Twinair, such a fun, practical car to own, full of character and Italian style. I like it's high road visibility, ability to handle rough roads, plenty of those in the city centre I mostly drive. I like it's small car look but with a very roomy interior, plenty of room in the back and a comfortable seating position in the front.
The Twinair engine is fabulous, such a unique engine note and when that turbo kicks in there is plenty of power for overtaking etc It actually developes more power and torque than the 4 cylinder 1.2, you quickly forget it's small engine capacity and only 2 cylinders when you're on the move as long as you keep the revs and gear choice well matched, the 6 speed gearbox helps a lot in that respect.
Very economical, very low car tax, £30 per year in the UK, cheap insurance and relatively good fuel economy, I can easily achieve 50+mpg. Servicing is cheaper than a 4 cylinder engine, very happy with the build quality and finish, so far it has been very reliable and given us no issues. 😎👍

@@darrenangel461 Mine is also the Antarctica model, very rare, not seen another one yet!!
In fact not many 4x4 Pandas about, only seen 2 cross versions in my local area in the 2 years I've owned it.
Thats what I like about the Panda 4x4 they are unique and not seen on every street corner some other cars.😎👍

@@darrenangel461 I think last time I checked how many were on the road, it was a lot less than that and there seemed to be more diesels than twin airs!
For some odd reason buyers think the diesel is better, I disagree, I think overall the twinair is a better option. Certainly cheaper to run and cheaper to service. More power, slightly less torque but the little twinair is quite a torquey motor for it's size, just some are put off by it's small 875cc 2 cylinder engine but it drives like a much bigger engine.
I think they maybe sold around 200 in the UK out of the 300 made available?
I just checked 'how many left' website and only 86 twinair Antarcticas left on the road in the UK and 101 diesels. So it's getting less and less, last time I checked a few months ago there were over 100 twinairs but I guess some are maybe still out there but mothballed and put on SORN but it gives a good indication how many are actually driving on the road.
Always good to go for LTD edition models as they become more sought after and hold values better in future.
I paid pretty much the same for mine as the regular 4x4, maybe a bit cheaper, don't think the seller realised it was a limited edition model? Had very low miles 32k and full Fiat service history, absolutely mint condition inside and out, not a mark on any of the wheels.

Very affordable small car. For me it replaces the Opel Karl. The advantage of the Fiat Panda is that for 13,500 euros the customer has a full option small and trendy city driver with space for people and luggage that isn't a wheelbarrow. The looks are not bad too. It must sell more and more, I see it more and more riding in my city. Only for the smarter buyer. I also have the expperience small Fiat engines are reliable and pretty powerfull.

TWINAIR MODELLE bitte nur mit 5W30er Öl beziehungsweise 0W30er Motoröl fahren. Beim 5W40er Öl fängt jeder Twinair mit dem Saufen an. Und beim Fahren des öfteren den Panda im ECO-MODUS bewegen. Zum Beispiel bei Bergabfahrten und auf der Ebene. Denn dort brauche ich keinen Turbo.

I was fortunate to find a 2015 model which I believe was the last year fiat made the diesel models about six months ago with only 13,200 miles on the clock and one previous owner in mint condition so I was pretty lucky and I love the little thing and in the green the colour I preferred too. Happy days, I’ll feel that bit more confident now about getting home on those winter nights especially living out in the country.

That car appears to be worth a fair bit more than the sum of its parts, I only wish they'd put the 100hp engine in it. 13 secs to 60 and 100mph top speed is a letdown, it also needs a better set of tires. If this had the 140bhp 1.4 Abarth engine in it, and wheels an inch wider, I can only imagine it would be EPIC. Still, well done fiat. Not bad, not bad at all.
