A mate and I travelled flixbus from Munich to London- 20 hours next to a broken and overflowing chemical toilet. An experience that we won't be repeating and a horror story that is retold on drunken nights out.
A night on the bus is not a pleasant thing, but thanks to this we have one more day of sightseeing or one less night in the hotel. at the beginning of this month we did it for the third time, this time on the longest route Trieste - Krakow.
I love The Netherlands (except Amsterdam) and thought about taking Flixbus from Stockholm to Rostock, then to Lieve Nederland. It's looks a whole lot better than Greyhound in the US. Being a German based company, at least they look like they know how to stay consistent and on schedule. Greyhound in the US is horribly managed, understaffed, and hardly on time. They can't even maintain a proper schedule. It took me over 2 days to get to my destination, when it should have been less than a day. The Greyhound is like a homeless shelter on wheels now. Public transportation in the UK and Europe are way better.
What was the policy on using the seat recliner? I have only travelled on two overnight buses: Rede Expresos in Portugal, which had no issues with reclining the seats, and AP Varazdin in Croatia, where reclining the seat was STRICTLY PROHIBITED, despite the vehicle having such a feature.
