Nice to see some Lovecraftian elements in The Dragon Prince. I hope we can see the Void Dragons or at least some lore of them in Book 7: Dark. Off-Topic: Also, I am curious if the deities of the Human Kingdoms like Duren’s Harvest Goddess and Katolis’ Lady Justice are real. Maybe they are Startouch Elves in human disguises. The Lady Justice blindfold reminds me of the Celestial Elves’ culture of wearing blindfolds (Eyes can deceive us and it is our senses and understanding that matter). The reason is that the Startouch Elves give me a lot of Valar and Maiar vibes from The Silmarillion. They are immortal gods who cannot die. Also, they originate as spirits from the heavens who take “mortal” forms when they live in Arda (Tolkien’s World).
OOOH! Someone else is invested in the deities too! Absolutely! The blindfold motif is so interesting as it relates to Lady Justice! I entirely see your point about them potentially being Startouch elves since we do see humans referring to them as 'gods' in the Epic of the Void. I'm not too familiar with Tolkien but I am aware that the show has referenced the Lord of the Rings so you're probably onto something here!
The Void Dragon might be featured in Season 7 Dark since I think they are corrupted Star Dragons. It would make sense because of the names "Star Devourer Dragon" and Void Dragon."
I would LOVE to see Void Dragons! They're always so cool. On a different note, I understand your thoughts on The Dragon Prince and how the show addresses the world. I love the world too and I want to know more. But I think it's important to remember that the show is fundamentally about how the current world changes. It is about the adventures our characters go on to shift the current world. That is something that had to be accepted from day 1. And I think the show is masterful at it. It is one of (if not my favorite) show of all time. The external material is an aspect I love throwing myself into, and it supplements the show, but I do not expect everything from the show. (This isn't any sort of attack I promise, just providing my perspective). I want the Tales of Xadia too just for the lore! I can't wait to see all of the secrets it has.
lol! worry not, I don't feel attacked I THOUGHT I understood the show and the supplementary material as separate but as it turned out... I only understand in theory and not in practice *tears of denial* lol, I think it will sink in with time
@@AngelesLunamoth I think it helps to view it as one informing the other. They do not all serve the same purpose or story, but it helps you to enjoy one or the other. For instance, Leola's story and the idea of unicorns giving primal stones to humans is supplemented by knowing the outside material. However the show itself is the thing which makes the massive strides in establishing the truth of the situation.
After reading two online interviews from the creators after Season 3, they said they are looking forward to tell more of Sol Regem's background and hopefully we get to learnif his mate and their dragon eggs actually survived, because they series opened up with an Archdragon of the Sun maybe it can close with his son or daughter, who hatches from their eggs?
Personally, I’m kind of want the supplementary material to remain more self contained, since a lot of causal fans who don’t keep up with the books could potentially miss out on a lot of important plot points. It’s why Through the Moon frustrated people who were completely blindsided when season 4 revealed that Rayla left Callum after season 3. And to a lesser extent, why Strangers frustrated people who were looking forward to seeing Soren and Viren’s reunion in season 4, myself included. I think the graphic novels should focus on fleshing out characters and relationships, but not in a alienates people who only watch the show. I think Bloodmoon Huntress is a good example, since you don’t need to read that book to know how much Rayla loves Runnan and Ethari, but it does give their scenes a lot more impact. It’s why my ideal graphic novel would be the Viren prequel I mentioned before where he has to prove himself worthy to be Kpp’ar apprentice using only his intellect. It shows how he believed magic was the only thing that gave his life purpose and meaning, and how he feels helpless without it. We can already gather that just by watching the show, but this would help to explain why he feels that way. So while I love your theory on how this could tie into season 7, I expect this to be more focused on the relationship between the princes. And to be honest, I’m happy just to get to see Harrow interact with his children, especially since we didn’t get a lot of scenes with him and Ezran before he died. I think this book could have Harrow and Amaya fall under the sleep spell, which will push Callum and Ezran to work together to save them. And maybe when they wake up, they could talk about their dreams, and they could be poetic foreshadowing to their ultimate fates. Like if Harrow says he was dreaming of his beloved bird, Pip! Or, if Harrow ends up calling in Viren to help since magic is involved, Viren could see himself drowning in a sea of blood, and he’s dragging both of his children down with him. Soren ends up breaking away, but Claudia refuses to let go despite her father’s desperate pleas. And then he wakes up and comedically says, “Wonder what that means?”
Bloodmoon Huntress is the better of the graphic novels in how it's tied into the show. The crew is playing with my emotions way too much when it comes to Pip 🥲 But I'm also looking forward to seeing Harrow. The few pages that are available from the graphic novel show him as a dad and I love him with all my heart ♥️ I like the idea that he and Amaya will have a dream to foreshadow their fates!
Personally i hope we get mature shows/movies. I'm not asking for a gore & "rake" fest like GoT but something more like an Indiana Jones level of story telling maturity. I wonder how Blood Moon Huntress was. I'm not dyslexic but i have difficulty reading more than a page.
I agree that it doesn't need to be as gruesome as GoT considering that that is for a mature audience but definitely, I'd like to see complexity and maturity. Bloodmoon Huntress was really good! I'll probably chat about it in a few videos in the future since I think some of the events there could still be relevant for season 7 So I'll try to fill you in! (eventually lol)
Oh! Also, speaking of the Tales of Xadia game book, I have been drawing the many kinds of dragons in it for some time. Also, can you imagine the game characters, Draylenn and Hestia, appearing in the show?

In the intro where we see Callum holding the Key of Aaravos and he’s petrified, it kind of looks like he has a scar on his cheek. This is in the intro to Episode 4, Season 4 when Aaravos controls him and Episode 8, Season 5 when he performs Dark magic in Finnegrin’s ship. I’m not sure if that’s gonna be a thing but it does look like a scar in my opinion.
@@AngelesLunamoth I dont really know, in s6 ep 3 we can see Callum corrupted by dark magic in his dream and it looks simmular to s4 ep4 intro so im guessing it might be that, it just kinda says that he did dark magic and is corrupted, or it might be just visual thing with nothing else with it, or you are right and we will get something in s7!
