If you didn't know you can change the game difficulty at the School of Blades, at hardest you get better stat and talent rolls on all wild Yao's.

For regular mobs out in the open what’s ur strategy for shiny/variant farming

There’s a couple different methods. I’d either just pop the best food buff you can for shiny/variant and then run past them catch any you see teleport back to the closest spawn to that point repeat. Or you can soft reset before the area of target and just reset it. Hope this helps!!

If you wanna breed a combo of both then yes! There is a small chance of still getting a shiny or recolor from breeding randomly but that’s a much slower method then just hunting them normally

@@saggydumpling7532for lantern grass you can try and level up your vendor and buy seeds. Or you could progress a bit further in area to where they are, I don’t remember exactly where. Also heart stones are a good way to get them as well. Breeding is free heartstones if you sell the eggs.

After you beat the final boss there is an area behind to catch it in baby form use the spirit vision and you will see it
