The reason why electric Cheri is so good on mob is because it’s scales with ammo. The lower the ammo, the more damage it does. When you use the vitriolic withering, you get one shot. Since it has suck low ammo per mag, it does more damage. Same thing with the end of the upgraded staffs on origins.
That and the fact that Mob has a lot of narrow hallways and areas in general, it was good on any weapon imo especially the mini gun which had such a massive clip

Jug is better overall but widows is better in a large amount of situations making widows better than jug because unless you are going for points widows is just better jug because you can still go down in seconds with jug but widows will almost always save you from dying
jug is the best perk before black ops 3. in bo3, you take 3 hits before a down and with widows, thats completely fine as when you get hit, literally all the zombies freeze. Overall, you would get more survivability out of widows wine if you could only take one other perk and you had to choose between widows and jugg (which is impractical since youd always take both unless widows wasnt on the map).
widows wine fucks up your trains so hard, it makes it super annoying when you take damage when you don't want it, and it puts you in this annoying loop of constantly chasing widows powerups every time you take damage. Plus the absolute foulness of replacing PHD flopper on chronicles with widows wine is the cherry on the cake for me. I always run staminup instead of widows on bo3
I like the aesthetic of Widows Wine more, but Winters Wail with the modifier is objectively better for a few reasons. 1. After it activates it has a slowing down effect around the player that lasts for like 10 seconds. It will initially freeze the zombies, just like Widows Wine, but it will continue to protect you afterward from any new zombies that run towards you. This also slows down any bosses as well. 2. It activates on the second hit from a zombie rather than after one hit, which saves charges. With Widows Wine it can easily activate from a single zombie which is a waste. 3. Its charges replenish every 30 seconds which is more consistent than Widows Wine drops, which seemingly drop at random. There are times when Widows Wine grenades drop like crazy and there are times when I won't see any drop for an entire round.
For me when it comes down to it I choose widows wine because I like the name more. I haven’t played bo4 in a long time so I forgot do both refill with max ammo and how many can you carry

6:59 this is literally what I’ve been saying forever, this perk was DESIGNED for motd. It’s actually the only perk I’ve ever seen them synergize/ completely design around the wonder weapon, like only having one round in the clip for acid gat is the sole reason that this perk is phenomenal on this map and I actually think EC is one of the reasons Mob is so good. It’s like the cherry on top. Literally.

I think a better way too look at this is which perk would you rather have. Ask yourself if you would rather have the perk next to it on the list and do that until everything is in order
I'd say it depends. Both playing with randoms and a few friends I have seen an incredible number of players who would do better with being able to take more hits than to simply heal faster. Now if we want to account the upgrades, being able to revive yourself at the cost of losing the perk is great, but teir five for Jugg doesn't help as much as it could.
i disagree, in cw tier three armor jug and ring of fire pretty much made you invincible and health only regens when you aren't taking damage so bad for camping
Also, I know this is a week late, but Outbreak Survival exists. Where the faster healing from Quick Revive is literally meaningless. Sure, normal Outbreak and round based is more popular, but Survival can be fun too and still stands as a point to bring up.
Winters Wail is above Wine imo. A charge refreshes every 30 seconds, on the modifier you get a slowing field around you even for bosses, 4 charges on modifier and requires 2 hits to activate. Both are basically the same though. You should try it out
one is fixed the other isn’t you can get three windows wine grenades in thirty seconds if your lucky or you can go a whole round without getting any. To me it just comes down to what you like more they both do the job they were meant for and both are amazing I like widows wine more because I like the name plus I actually like wine and looks cooler to me

Jug has to be number 1 for the reason being that it is the only perk that is mandatory to survive in the game. Everyone that has played has said after they have down was “I NEED JUG” or “GO GET JUG”

OG double tap is underrated, especially on maps like Kino and World at War Maps. It’s not a detriment to you it helps you kill them faster still especially with speed cola paired.
Ethereal Razor is AT LEAST A tier. Extra melee damage yeah, but it heals you too. On top of that, as your modifier it instakills basic zombies which in BO4 the game loves throwing zombies in front of you to prevent trains. It’s honestly a really good perk
Certain perks are better for some people than others, double tap 2 is better for players that can’t necessarily reach high rounds, staminup is worse for players who look for camping spots. It’s all subjective.

@@HavingCrumpets you are right, it’s just I’ve met some ppl on zombies with some controversial opinions. There’s this one guy I know who’s favorite perk for a while was genuinely tombstone and his least favorite map still is shadows of evil, there’s always anomalies.
My problem with widows is that as much as it saves my life, it also fucks up my train. If you’re good enough to where you can train through chokepoints without getting hit at all then it’s an amazing perk but for me, some zombie always comes from nowhere, hits me, and messes up the train.
That’s why Winters Wail is superior: it activates on the second hit rather than the first, plus the modifier keeps additional zombies from hitting you as well. On top of that you have Victorious Tortoise which further protects you from wasting charges. Definitely one of the best, easily better than Widows.
The problem I have with Widow's Wine is that despite it being so incredibly versatile, Double Tap 2.0 has so much more use at lower rounds than it. In an objective sense, it is much better to have straight double damage instead of four and maybe a few more chances to get out of a situation. Getting more grenades from Widow's requires you to run back into the horde you just got hit by, which will inevitably have zombies that were not hit by the grenade, which will cause a chain reaction of you being unable to get to your extremely short lived grenade pickups while wasting the grenades you already have. Double Tap won't disorient you (thought being disoriented by Widow's probably means you get nauseated by Zombie Blood) and won't have a positive feedback loop that will result in losing the benefits of the perk. You get DT2 and it won't stop doing its main thing ever, even if at higher rounds the effect is less apparent. You get more bang for your buck for a much more important time period in a high round run, where you have to set up and keep yourself alive at a lower round where it works fine, it's also half as much as Widow's and on 4 out of 6 base maps of BO3 it is actually just a perk machine and not a wonderfizz exclusive.
problem is, it doesn't really mesh well with easter egg attempts. If you make a mistake on the precious low rounds, you won't be able to do enough before you are trying to fill soul chests with round 25 zombies chasing after you while trying to kill 3 panzers

I went round 39 on the giant with 3 friends (we played offline, had no PS+ subscription at the time, so also no OP gobblegum) and none of us got the Wunderwaffe in that attempt 😅. Was just using regular double papped weapons. Ofcourse, for things like Easter Eggs, where you’ll want a wonder weapon before even attempting them, Widow’s wine will be much more valuable. But double tap is this perk that does extremely well when you’re most vulnerable (and also at the times you don’t want to waste ammo from your wonder weapons like mid 10’s-20’s. Stuff like the Drakon is as powerful as it is because of double tap. Still a 1 shot headshot at round 35.
When ranking perks from different games the list of perks can’t be ranked fairly because the Cold War perks are simply better so they should be graded on what does it do to make that games run easier, so old jug could be with new jug
A better way of ranking would be “is this perk absolutely required is every situation” and so on, jugg and quick for solo in pretty much every applicable cod. The CW perks are all the strongest form taking in to account of upgrades, also with no perk limit it doesn’t matter how you want to play, you can get them all so it’s hard to rank them
I've said it before and I'll say it again... Tombstone and Who's Who aren't bad perks at all. They were just released on the wrong maps. Tombstone should've been on Die Rise and Who's Who should've been on Tranzit.
eh, yes for who's who on tranzit but tombstone on die rise would still suck, its hard to get around on die rise, (at least going up is) and your tombstone de spawns after awhile, so a map like buried would be great for tombstone, not necessarily make it great but improve it.
BO2 seems like it could never tall what perk should go where, like putting a square block in a triangle shaped hole. Ph.D. would be great on any map with the 1911, plus fall damage immunity would be good on Mob and GREAT on Die rise, but got Origins, a map with no risk of fall, explosive WW or 1911 Mule Kick would work AMAZING on mob cuz it had so many great guns., IE. Uzi, Tommy gun, Death Machine, Acidgat & Blundergat, but just stayed mediocre. Tombstone would be decent on a map like buried since getting around is pretty easy, IT EVEN FITS THEMATICALLY! but stayed on Tranzit and town. Who's Who? would have done much better if it got put one nearly any other map, Origins & Buried would work, Tranzit would be fine, but we got it exclusively on die fucking rise. Treyarch: one minute geniuses, the next jackassing around and teasing phd for no good reason. (Apology for the rant)

The reason electric cherry is so good on MOTD is because it's a close quarters map where you have a wonder weapon that shoots once then reloads so it's used very often and has a very helpful effect on MOTD
With all of the different variations of perks, I'm surprised more WaW variations didn't show up. Jugg was almost a completely different perk depending on the map (i.e. Verrukt vs Der Riese), and quick revive had 0 utility if you were in single player. Would have been interesting to rank them just due to their oddities
Cold War probably had the best perk system. It made the game a bit too easy but the perk tiers and variety were great. I wish they put a cap on how many you could so it was more strategic and then you could do quests to obtain more
Cold war jug is amazing it gives you an extra hit instead of going down it makes your armor replenish faster and it makes it stronger plus you recover form things like mangler blasts fire tempest stuns etc
Honestly I have no idea why widows is so high up. If its a situation where you can only have 1 perk then yeah its by far the best but if you are judging it from the perspective of overall usage and usefulness then Jug is the best perk. Speed running, high rounds, casual play or whatever. You always use jug.
I think old quick revive is underrated. The first perk to be bought on 90% of the maps its in and can still be necessary in coop if you are playing with weaker players.
Yea but it’s a seconds thought in multiplayer and if you are playing with weak players you already are setting up for a low round death. I have never got it unless it’s with perka in bo3

Co-op zombies feels like I’m never actually cooperating with randoms. Feels like everyone is out for themselves and only play with randoms to not feel lonely.

It’s an a tier perk because mob is the most cramped zombies map of all time with often times hallways and doorways that are only 1 zombie wide so players can’t easily walk by. A perk that prevents zombies from easily killing you while cornered is super useful in a map that constantly gets you cornered when you move around it.
I came back to this because Lex has a tendency to say something and then do a 180 degree trun on his opinion but honestly... this list is pretty solid. Not too many complains, I can understand all the picks at the very least
this means absolutely nothing. you can one knife for an extra 1 or 2 rounds? and that is completely negligible to *bonus* effects that other perks give.

Jug and dying wish are kinda tied for me, thr actual effect of dying with is way better than jug, but it has a bad cooldown. So they're about the same to me, but I'd personally feel safer with dying wish. But that's just my opinion, I know how the community is obsessed with jug.

Because you have to suicide in order to get it. Which as the rounds go on your gonna be spectating for so long not to mention your team have to play with a teammate down which is harder because the game gives them more zombies because you’re in the game and essentially making 3 players play with 4 play zombies. And for you not to be playing the game makes it pointless. Why would you play a game when it incentivises you to die out and you cant play?

I just got to round 100 on Shadows yesterday and I can tell you Widows Wine saved my ass countless times. You won’t run out of nades if you’re smart with it. Best shit ever.
With Who’s Who in solo and with quick revive, when you down the quick revive solo effect begins reviving you, then once you get revived the Who’s Who effect of keeping all your perks other than Who’s Who happens, so as long as you have points to keep rebuying Who’s Who your practically invincible.
Dying wish should of been in SS, it's so good and gives you a second chance for a good period of time especially in its modifier when it instantly heals you.
The thing is after you use it it has a (way too long cooldown) of minimum 9 minutes, which increases the more you activate it. Plus in higher rounds, its basically the same as widows/winters since your weapons arent gonna be doing anything to zombies but with the other 2 you at least have 4/3 chances to whip out a wonder weapon
Double tap 1.0 increases the firing speed of the ray gun and bo1 quick revive increases the distraction time of the upgraded crossbow if the bolt is close to you.
Good list but the double tap 1.0 placement makes no sense. At the end of the day it still causes you to do double the regular damage which on these earlier maps with worse wonder weapons this is so helpful. Obviously a faster fire rate means you go through ammo faster but that isnt a bad thing if you kill the same amount of zombies twice as fast spending the same amount of ammo as if you didnt have the perk.
I don't think that cold war jug should be getting shat on as much as it is on this list, even though it gets carried by the armor system, the game mechanics keeps you from running out of armor since enemies drop armor and it gives you that additional hit before you die.
I also buy Cold War death perception very early on, but that’s only because of the salvage collecting benefit which you need to start using early to feel the benefits from
Ye because armour exists and stims too so you dont rly need it. If you do a no jug on bo1 for example you will always die in 2 hits. In cw you can take like so many hits with armour and stims when your cornered. But i do agree with you, he ranked mule kick S considering the upgrades and hug low not considering upgrades trash list
I do agree a lot with this list, but as Lex said, it really depends on the situation for many people and also their type of play stile since peeks in the majority of the cases are excellent, so we can say in general that all perks are awesome (except the F tier ones)

I never buy quick revive because I’m the kind of player where if I go down and lose all my perks, I don’t want to go through the trouble of surviving long enough to get all of my perks back when I could’ve had a different perk that would help prevent me from going down in the first place

on console most ppl aim for the head themselves anyway, and when you have a big horde traning behind you, that 35 percent reduced hipfire won't matter because all ur bullets are going to hit something on the horde
I think it's also because of the game that it's in, the armor system kinda acts like a jugg aswell, so it's not really an essential perk to run like in the older titles.
Lex really slept on CW jug so bad here - it makes your armor last longer AND has dying wish built into it... makes no sense to even consider it below dying wish lmao
My personal top 5 as a WaW - Bo3 high rounder 1. Juggernog: Who doesn't run this perk, it's literally the only perk in the game where it's nothing but good. 2. Widow's Wine: I think widows is second best of all time as it literally gives you a free out if you fuck up and it's not limited like QR. 3. Stamin-Up: This is more personal as I personally can not live without this perk, being able to run faster and longer is only a good thing and it's worth the perk slot, sure it's worthless if you're camping but 80% of the time you aren't bc of how zombies has evolved. Idk what else to say the perk is just perfect for my playstyle and has saved my ass so many times 4. Double Tap 2.0: Literally doubles your damage, so damn good, allows you to run faster early game strategies for longer and is just so good for damage output and how long you'll last in the earlier rounds. 5. PHD Flopper: Flopper is a special case because I think it's literally only as good as it is in 1 game and that's Bo1. Flopper + Mustang and Sally is one of the most OP combos as you cannot die with it if your smart enough (until the damage drop-off) It makes some strats like the ascension power room strat possible and even speeds up the game. It's also just an absolute must have on CotD and Shangri-La as the reliance on explosives on those maps is kind of alarming (probably why bo3 shang is so fucking hard).
CW speed cola was at most c tier. the reload speed increase was noticeably slower than previous titles and the bonus abilities like increase window repair speed and faster box respawns are so useless.
I agree with most the only thing I would change is that perks like tombstone aren’t really gonna be used in solo so I wouldn’t group it in with the practicality use when the use is for co-op. Idk if what I said makes sense to others but it makes sense to me. I’m basically saying if it doesn’t have a practical use in both game modes (solo and co-op) then rate them on their practical use for specific game mode. Quick revive is S tier in solo but isn’t ranked as high for co-op so tank it off of the most practical use.
Winter Wail > Windows Wine ….. Have you ever used Winters wail as a Modifier? Not only does it freeze the zombies on impact but you can run around for like 10 seconds freezing all zombies within proximity of you.
Phd flopper will always be my favorite perk of all time. You can get it first after you get revived and you can make your way to go get jug next. (Assuming you have a ray gun or any explosive gun)
the widows wine one is false - in high rounds there can only be so many widows wine drops per round meaning that by round 100 you might only have 6 or 7 widows wines per round when there’s hundreds of zombies
I think a clearer criteria would’ve help rank the perks like are the cw perks all tier 5? Or are bo4 perks have their modifier? Do glitches count for ranking higher? Things like that at times it seemed inconsistent at times
Double tap one never made you “blow through ammo more” or anything like that. It just upped your rate of fire. Great. It really doesn’t matter much if you’re patient and stuff, but it is by no means bad or useless. It just speeds up the game. Of course double tap 2 is 100x better because it doubles your damage, but honestly can we stop shitting on DT1 when it really was not THAT bad.
Winter's Wail is way better than Widow's wine. 1. Widow's activates in one hit, Winter's activates in two. Getting side swiped by zombies and having WW activate is a pain in the ass, even if you can kill them for more charges, it can stagger and disrupt trains, but more importantly, zombies become obstacles that can get in your way. 2. Winter's modifier is goated, not because you get more charges, but because it sprays constantly around you for ~4-5 seconds once activated, so you are not just instantly applying the effect around you at that given moment, but any zombies you run by will be affected as well. 3. Winter's does not take up equipment space like Widow's. I hate throwing my Widow nades in sacrifice for my sustain. A numerical value only affected by actual activation is what I resonate with more.
I think jug is better then widows wine because I'd rather have 200 hp then 100 hp and widows wine. Also widows wine can be a hinderance sometimes while jugg never is. In fact winters wail modifier is potentially the best perk since you have base 200 hp in bo4.( I rarely played with it so idk how consistent the recharge rate is) But you need all 4 perks active, so I'd say dying wish is still the best. Dying wish is the best perk assuming you have base 200 hp. Sure it's not always doing something, but infinite revives is insanely powerful.Theres a reason everyone has it in their loadout in bo4. Double tap 2.0 is unessacery in AA games and worthless with wonder weapons. It's best use is killing tanky special zombies with certain weapons in bo3. Prior to bo3 wonder weapons were doing most of your damage at high rounds anyway. I always felt tortoise was an overrated noob perk, but it is very useful for doing easter egg steps solo in bo4.

Quick revive in coop depents on the situation its good for when there is a group of zombies coming behind you and you don't have things like monkey bombs or a wonderwapon

I like the aesthetic of Widows Wine more, but Winters Wail with the modifier is objectively better for a few reasons.
1. After it activates it has a slowing down effect around the player that lasts for like 10 seconds. It will initially freeze the zombies, just like Widows Wine, but it will continue to protect you afterward from any new zombies that run towards you. This also slows down any bosses as well.
2. It activates on the second hit from a zombie rather than after one hit, which saves charges. With Widows Wine it can easily activate from a single zombie which is a waste.
3. Its charges replenish every 30 seconds which is more consistent than Widows Wine drops, which seemingly drop at random. There are times when Widows Wine grenades drop like crazy and there are times when I won't see any drop for an entire round.
Yeah winters is honestly crazy. I really miss it.

6:59 this is literally what I’ve been saying forever, this perk was DESIGNED for motd. It’s actually the only perk I’ve ever seen them synergize/ completely design around the wonder weapon, like only having one round in the clip for acid gat is the sole reason that this perk is phenomenal on this map and I actually think EC is one of the reasons Mob is so good. It’s like the cherry on top. Literally.

I think a better way too look at this is which perk would you rather have. Ask yourself if you would rather have the perk next to it on the list and do that until everything is in order
I personally think CW Quick revive is the best in that game because Heath regeneration is better than just some extra Heath, that’s my opinion anyway
I'd say it depends. Both playing with randoms and a few friends I have seen an incredible number of players who would do better with being able to take more hits than to simply heal faster. Now if we want to account the upgrades, being able to revive yourself at the cost of losing the perk is great, but teir five for Jugg doesn't help as much as it could.
i disagree, in cw tier three armor jug and ring of fire pretty much made you invincible and health only regens when you aren't taking damage so bad for camping
Also, I know this is a week late, but Outbreak Survival exists. Where the faster healing from Quick Revive is literally meaningless. Sure, normal Outbreak and round based is more popular, but Survival can be fun too and still stands as a point to bring up.
Winters Wail is above Wine imo. A charge refreshes every 30 seconds, on the modifier you get a slowing field around you even for bosses, 4 charges on modifier and requires 2 hits to activate. Both are basically the same though. You should try it out

one is fixed the other isn’t you can get three windows wine grenades in thirty seconds if your lucky or you can go a whole round without getting any. To me it just comes down to what you like more they both do the job they were meant for and both are amazing I like widows wine more because I like the name plus I actually like wine and looks cooler to me

Like I said though, both are basically the same. I just feel like Winters Wail is the stronger perk

Ethereal Razor is AT LEAST A tier. Extra melee damage yeah, but it heals you too. On top of that, as your modifier it instakills basic zombies which in BO4 the game loves throwing zombies in front of you to prevent trains. It’s honestly a really good perk
Certain perks are better for some people than others, double tap 2 is better for players that can’t necessarily reach high rounds, staminup is worse for players who look for camping spots. It’s all subjective.

My problem with widows is that as much as it saves my life, it also fucks up my train. If you’re good enough to where you can train through chokepoints without getting hit at all then it’s an amazing perk but for me, some zombie always comes from nowhere, hits me, and messes up the train.
That’s why Winters Wail is superior: it activates on the second hit rather than the first, plus the modifier keeps additional zombies from hitting you as well. On top of that you have Victorious Tortoise which further protects you from wasting charges. Definitely one of the best, easily better than Widows.

The problem I have with Widow's Wine is that despite it being so incredibly versatile, Double Tap 2.0 has so much more use at lower rounds than it. In an objective sense, it is much better to have straight double damage instead of four and maybe a few more chances to get out of a situation. Getting more grenades from Widow's requires you to run back into the horde you just got hit by, which will inevitably have zombies that were not hit by the grenade, which will cause a chain reaction of you being unable to get to your extremely short lived grenade pickups while wasting the grenades you already have. Double Tap won't disorient you (thought being disoriented by Widow's probably means you get nauseated by Zombie Blood) and won't have a positive feedback loop that will result in losing the benefits of the perk. You get DT2 and it won't stop doing its main thing ever, even if at higher rounds the effect is less apparent. You get more bang for your buck for a much more important time period in a high round run, where you have to set up and keep yourself alive at a lower round where it works fine, it's also half as much as Widow's and on 4 out of 6 base maps of BO3 it is actually just a perk machine and not a wonderfizz exclusive.
problem is, it doesn't really mesh well with easter egg attempts. If you make a mistake on the precious low rounds, you won't be able to do enough before you are trying to fill soul chests with round 25 zombies chasing after you while trying to kill 3 panzers
but double tap does literally nothing if you're using wonder weapons. What's the point of double tap when I'm using a thuder gun or apothican servant? meanwhile Widows wine always has use. The only negative is if ur holding a zombie and u forget to throw away ur grenades, but that's on you.

I went round 39 on the giant with 3 friends (we played offline, had no PS+ subscription at the time, so also no OP gobblegum) and none of us got the Wunderwaffe in that attempt 😅. Was just using regular double papped weapons.
Ofcourse, for things like Easter Eggs, where you’ll want a wonder weapon before even attempting them, Widow’s wine will be much more valuable.
But double tap is this perk that does extremely well when you’re most vulnerable (and also at the times you don’t want to waste ammo from your wonder weapons like mid 10’s-20’s.
Stuff like the Drakon is as powerful as it is because of double tap. Still a 1 shot headshot at round 35.
When ranking perks from different games the list of perks can’t be ranked fairly because the Cold War perks are simply better so they should be graded on what does it do to make that games run easier, so old jug could be with new jug
A better way of ranking would be “is this perk absolutely required is every situation” and so on, jugg and quick for solo in pretty much every applicable cod. The CW perks are all the strongest form taking in to account of upgrades, also with no perk limit it doesn’t matter how you want to play, you can get them all so it’s hard to rank them

Tombstone and Who's Who aren't bad perks at all. They were just released on the wrong maps. Tombstone should've been on Die Rise and Who's Who should've been on Tranzit.
eh, yes for who's who on tranzit but tombstone on die rise would still suck, its hard to get around on die rise, (at least going up is) and your tombstone de spawns after awhile, so a map like buried would be great for tombstone, not necessarily make it great but improve it.
BO2 seems like it could never tall what perk should go where, like putting a square block in a triangle shaped hole.
Ph.D. would be great on any map with the 1911, plus fall damage immunity would be good on Mob and GREAT on Die rise, but got Origins, a map with no risk of fall, explosive WW or 1911
Mule Kick would work AMAZING on mob cuz it had so many great guns., IE. Uzi, Tommy gun, Death Machine, Acidgat & Blundergat, but just stayed mediocre.
Tombstone would be decent on a map like buried since getting around is pretty easy, IT EVEN FITS THEMATICALLY! but stayed on Tranzit and town.
Who's Who? would have done much better if it got put one nearly any other map, Origins & Buried would work, Tranzit would be fine, but we got it exclusively on die fucking rise.
Treyarch: one minute geniuses, the next jackassing around and teasing phd for no good reason.

The reason electric cherry is so good on MOTD is because it's a close quarters map where you have a wonder weapon that shoots once then reloads so it's used very often and has a very helpful effect on MOTD
With all of the different variations of perks, I'm surprised more WaW variations didn't show up. Jugg was almost a completely different perk depending on the map (i.e. Verrukt vs Der Riese), and quick revive had 0 utility if you were in single player. Would have been interesting to rank them just due to their oddities
I love how Cold War perks are just too tier. I know the upgrades make it unfair. But being someone who really enjoys Cold War it feels good to see.

Cold War probably had the best perk system. It made the game a bit too easy but the perk tiers and variety were great. I wish they put a cap on how many you could so it was more strategic and then you could do quests to obtain more

Cold war jug is amazing it gives you an extra hit instead of going down it makes your armor replenish faster and it makes it stronger plus you recover form things like mangler blasts fire tempest stuns etc
It also has the Dying Wish effect. I think it only activates once and then you need Juggernog again.

It’s an a tier perk because mob is the most cramped zombies map of all time with often times hallways and doorways that are only 1 zombie wide so players can’t easily walk by. A perk that prevents zombies from easily killing you while cornered is super useful in a map that constantly gets you cornered when you move around it.

this means absolutely nothing. you can one knife for an extra 1 or 2 rounds? and that is completely negligible to *bonus* effects that other perks give.

Jug and dying wish are kinda tied for me, thr actual effect of dying with is way better than jug, but it has a bad cooldown. So they're about the same to me, but I'd personally feel safer with dying wish. But that's just my opinion, I know how the community is obsessed with jug.

Because you have to suicide in order to get it. Which as the rounds go on your gonna be spectating for so long not to mention your team have to play with a teammate down which is harder because the game gives them more zombies because you’re in the game and essentially making 3 players play with 4 play zombies. And for you not to be playing the game makes it pointless. Why would you play a game when it incentivises you to die out and you cant play?
OG jug should be number 1 its so good there is literally a world record list for playing without it , name another perk that has a whole category dedicated to it

I just got to round 100 on Shadows yesterday and I can tell you Widows Wine saved my ass countless times. You won’t run out of nades if you’re smart with it. Best shit ever.
With Who’s Who in solo and with quick revive, when you down the quick revive solo effect begins reviving you, then once you get revived the Who’s Who effect of keeping all your perks other than Who’s Who happens, so as long as you have points to keep rebuying Who’s Who your practically invincible.
Dying wish should of been in SS, it's so good and gives you a second chance for a good period of time especially in its modifier when it instantly heals you.
The thing is after you use it it has a (way too long cooldown) of minimum 9 minutes, which increases the more you activate it. Plus in higher rounds, its basically the same as widows/winters since your weapons arent gonna be doing anything to zombies but with the other 2 you at least have 4/3 chances to whip out a wonder weapon
Double tap 1.0 increases the firing speed of the ray gun and bo1 quick revive increases the distraction time of the upgraded crossbow if the bolt is close to you.
Good list but the double tap 1.0 placement makes no sense. At the end of the day it still causes you to do double the regular damage which on these earlier maps with worse wonder weapons this is so helpful. Obviously a faster fire rate means you go through ammo faster but that isnt a bad thing if you kill the same amount of zombies twice as fast spending the same amount of ammo as if you didnt have the perk.

I don't think that cold war jug should be getting shat on as much as it is on this list, even though it gets carried by the armor system, the game mechanics keeps you from running out of armor since enemies drop armor and it gives you that additional hit before you die.

In cw you can take like so many hits with armour and stims when your cornered. But i do agree with you, he ranked mule kick S considering the upgrades and hug low not considering upgrades trash list
I do agree a lot with this list, but as Lex said, it really depends on the situation for many people and also their type of play stile since peeks in the majority of the cases are excellent, so we can say in general that all perks are awesome (except the F tier ones)

Dead shot reduces hip fire by 35% removes all idle sway and on console it auto aims the the head so not useless
on console most ppl aim for the head themselves anyway, and when you have a big horde traning behind you, that 35 percent reduced hipfire won't matter because all ur bullets are going to hit something on the horde

My personal top 5 as a WaW - Bo3 high rounder
1. Juggernog: Who doesn't run this perk, it's literally the only perk in the game where it's nothing but good.
2. Widow's Wine: I think widows is second best of all time as it literally gives you a free out if you fuck up and it's not limited like QR.
3. Stamin-Up: This is more personal as I personally can not live without this perk, being able to run faster and longer is only a good thing and it's worth the perk slot, sure it's worthless if you're camping but 80% of the time you aren't bc of how zombies has evolved. Idk what else to say the perk is just perfect for my playstyle and has saved my ass so many times
4. Double Tap 2.0: Literally doubles your damage, so damn good, allows you to run faster early game strategies for longer and is just so good for damage output and how long you'll last in the earlier rounds.
5. PHD Flopper: Flopper is a special case because I think it's literally only as good as it is in 1 game and that's Bo1. Flopper + Mustang and Sally is one of the most OP combos as you cannot die with it if your smart enough (until the damage drop-off) It makes some strats like the ascension power room strat possible and even speeds up the game. It's also just an absolute must have on CotD and Shangri-La as the reliance on explosives on those maps is kind of alarming (probably why bo3 shang is so fucking hard).
CW speed cola was at most c tier. the reload speed increase was noticeably slower than previous titles and the bonus abilities like increase window repair speed and faster box respawns are so useless.

I agree with most the only thing I would change is that perks like tombstone aren’t really gonna be used in solo so I wouldn’t group it in with the practicality use when the use is for co-op.
Idk if what I said makes sense to others but it makes sense to me. I’m basically saying if it doesn’t have a practical use in both game modes (solo and co-op) then rate them on their practical use for specific game mode. Quick revive is S tier in solo but isn’t ranked as high for co-op so tank it off of the most practical use.
Winter Wail > Windows Wine ….. Have you ever used Winters wail as a Modifier? Not only does it freeze the zombies on impact but you can run around for like 10 seconds freezing all zombies within proximity of you.

the widows wine one is false - in high rounds there can only be so many widows wine drops per round meaning that by round 100 you might only have 6 or 7 widows wines per round when there’s hundreds of zombies
I think a clearer criteria would’ve help rank the perks like are the cw perks all tier 5? Or are bo4 perks have their modifier? Do glitches count for ranking higher? Things like that at times it seemed inconsistent at times

Double tap one never made you “blow through ammo more” or anything like that. It just upped your rate of fire. Great. It really doesn’t matter much if you’re patient and stuff, but it is by no means bad or useless. It just speeds up the game. Of course double tap 2 is 100x better because it doubles your damage, but honestly can we stop shitting on DT1 when it really was not THAT bad.
Winter's Wail is way better than Widow's wine.
1. Widow's activates in one hit, Winter's activates in two. Getting side swiped by zombies and having WW activate is a pain in the ass, even if you can kill them for more charges, it can stagger and disrupt trains, but more importantly, zombies become obstacles that can get in your way.
2. Winter's modifier is goated, not because you get more charges, but because it sprays constantly around you for ~4-5 seconds once activated, so you are not just instantly applying the effect around you at that given moment, but any zombies you run by will be affected as well.
3. Winter's does not take up equipment space like Widow's. I hate throwing my Widow nades in sacrifice for my sustain. A numerical value only affected by actual activation is what I resonate with more.
Jug was a obvious S but you should’ve made a SS and put the 4 best perks of all time. So it would be jug, widows, winters wail, and then double tap.
I think jug is better then widows wine because I'd rather have 200 hp then 100 hp and widows wine. Also widows wine can be a hinderance sometimes while jugg never is. In fact winters wail modifier is potentially the best perk since you have base 200 hp in bo4.( I rarely played with it so idk how consistent the recharge rate is) But you need all 4 perks active, so I'd say dying wish is still the best.
Dying wish is the best perk assuming you have base 200 hp. Sure it's not always doing something, but infinite revives is insanely powerful.Theres a reason everyone has it in their loadout in bo4.
Double tap 2.0 is unessacery in AA games and worthless with wonder weapons. It's best use is killing tanky special zombies with certain weapons in bo3. Prior to bo3 wonder weapons were doing most of your damage at high rounds anyway.
I always felt tortoise was an overrated noob perk, but it is very useful for doing easter egg steps solo in bo4.
Winters wail is better than widows wine because in the modifier it has 4 charges recharges mid round and all of them at the end of the round and the aura is amazing
Winters wail is easily better than widows.
1. Infinite charges and doesn't trigger on one zombie.
2. doesn't kill zombies when trying to hold a zombie at the end of the round.
3. Charges slow enemies for 5 seconds after the initial trigger.
4. 30 second recharge time for each charge
Quick revive in coop depents on the situation its good for when there is a group of zombies coming behind you and you don't have things like monkey bombs or a wonderwapon
