LBC is not the same without the Legend that is Steve Allen. We miss him so much! Ive been listening to Steve since the esrly days of LBC in Gough Square. Steve loved his job on the radio and to us listeners, he was like an old friend who we loved. I wish Steve would come back.

I am in Australia and listened to Steve along with many others here. It was so funny ,ridiculous and I could not take his non-stop banter seriously; he was bitchy and funny at the same time. During the horrible Covid time I think he helped to lighten the mood for many. He was there for his ascerbic wit and I think taking him seriously is ridiculous. I don't listen LBC anymore.
Lets clear this up. Hes the best presenter on LBC.(not excluding James O'Brien) Acid tongue, funny , a natural, Id prefer to listen to him over Katie Hopkins Farage or any of the others , at least he is a break from right wing rhetoric.. Slug & Lettuce Brentwood... hilarious :)
He spends most of his time slagging off celebrities being catty and bitchy then when He gets one in the studio to interview he bum licks and brown noses them !

i have come to the conclusion that if one tasks away the following,from the steve allan show , he doesnt do a three hour stint at 4am to 7am in the weekday mornings.to see why, deduct these words,. 'you know''actually'anytime soon'the spike' loads of talk of the 'magic circle', i know a magic circle i'd like to see him disappear up!!!!!.all the naff banter with 'paul smith' the news reader who sounds as if he's got a billiard ball in his mouth, by the time i have tried to interpret what he said early in the news i miss the next part of the bulletin. now deduct the traffic news the weather news, what is left? boring denunciations of price, church, andre,katona, brittan, all woman who have diet and keep fit video's, except when they are on his 'in conversation' slot, who then get a condescending and grovelling attitude,how he has'nt found himself confronted by some of these people he abuses i'll never know.how he does not get any questions about his camp dialogue and life style is another mystery.i long ago switched to classic fm. in case one asks why i listen to him, i don't.
