I am Xhosa nhe but I love Xitsonga I am watching TH-cam videos to learn the language, also I feel like the language is sidelined in South Africa. I loved Giyani but did not last I was sad. I want to watch more Tsonga series, I want to see Tsonga actors speaking their language not Zulu or Sotho. Its rare to see Xhosa or Zulu speaking Xitsonga on Tv but Tsonga people mostly know more than one African languages. We can all do better and learn African languages.
Sonja's story really highlights that families should explore every avenue and door when looking for lost family members. They knew where she lived but didn't bother looking for her now the blame also lies on their shoulders. But im glad they all forgave each other and i hope they give her the motherly love she needs.👏
Sonja is pain, she didn't have chance to burry her mother. After 40 years. She is on pain, you can feel her voice. The love of mother is priceless. Wish you cn recover quickly
@Tselenge Botlhole Don’t you find it intriguing that she knew were her mother’s family stayed yet chose to turn back. What’s changed now that she would rather make the journey with a TV crew at the expense of genuine reunification’s of loved ones.

Katekos family really needs to unite. Right now her mother doesn't even know where her father is. When kateko came black to Mozambique the grandmother had moved and he doesn't know where she is till this day. Im glad he found his mother alive. 👏

1st story, it is just like mine, ai, ran after my dad and his family and they couldn't answer 1 question, why didn't you come and check on me, coz you know where I grew up, you took your family there when you married my mom...mxm and after I found them I'm still the 1 who checks up on them, ai shame. Family will hurt you shame, but we still go strong
It was spelt as Mashava which is a popular Shona surname. Thats why I assumed. Anyway we are all connected. Mashaba is still a popular name in Zim in the Shangaan and Ndebele communities.

They probably were also scared as they had been rejected for being 'black' and remember how it was back in those days with regards to segregation 🥺
