Sir, if a NPS subscriber after accumulating some corpus opted the option 1 under Rule10 of CCS (Implementation of NPS) Rules, 2022 for availing the benefits under CCS (Pension)Rules, 1972 or under CCS (EOP) Rules,1939, depending upon the condition, however, in such cases what about the corpus that is being accumulated by the subscriber under NPS at the time of regulation?

If you retire on superannuation, then you will get benefits under PFRDA rules and pension accordingly. In this calculation, both employee contribution and government contribution will be added.
If you get Invalid Pension, Disability Pension, Family Pension, etc., in that case, only employee contribution and returns thereon will be paid.

Is there any latest information about common nps gratuity for central govt employees or central govt autonomous university except the matter of death gratuity. If you pl provide informations only about nps gratuity and any flat minimum pension of 10,000 or any amount whether supposed to be finalised in near future, I will be grateful to you if you please provide information regarding this . Sorry for the lost your family suffered. Your mom will get family pension at the rate of 30% of your father's last basic pay plus DA. after your mother, your sis will get the family pension at the same rate.

As of now, MCD promoted 75% and Direct recruitment 25%. Seniority number is allotted on the basis of appointment not date of joining.

1. Is this true in case of death during service NPS will give only 20% of total corpus in lumpsum to family person and 80% will go to annuity purchase ? For example I have 10 lakh NPS corpus. will family get only 2 lakh in cash and 80% will go to annuity?
2. If NPS corpus is low like above case isn't it better to choose Old pension option where family will get decent amount as monthly pension which would be 50% of Basic pay.
1. In case of death of NPS subscriber during service, TOTAL NPS accumulation will be paid to dependent family.
2. In low NPC accumulation, Old Pension Scheme is better to choose.

If you want to avail family pension, total NPS accumulation have to be surrendered including employee contribution.

Yes, retirement gratuity is admissible in addition. Formula is same as for Old Pension. For more details, please watch my video on Gratuity calculation.

1. I joined Housing Board Haryana as JE(Civil) on 26.o4.1982 under EPF scheme.
2. I applied through proper channel for the post of SDE(C) in Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science n Technology ,Murthal (A Haryana state govt university) & got selected vide order dt 02.03.2009.
3. I was relieved from HBH on 02.04.2009(FN) to join my duties at DCRUST Murthal as SDE(C) maintaining my lien in HBH till my confirmation in DCRUST, Murthal after completion of 2yrs probation period satisfactorily.
4. I joined on 02.04.2009(AN) as SDE(C) at DCRUST, Murthal and got confirmed on 02.04.2011 after successful completion of 2yrs probation period.
5. On 04.03.2014, I was assigned the current duty charge for the post of Executive Engineer and I exercised all administrative n financial powers of the post. Later on, I was given regular promotion to the post of EE on 05.03.2019 and superanuated on 31.12.22. On the last day of service my basic pay was Rs.105600 + allowances per month with overall emoluments of Rs155196/-pm.
6. On joining to the university, I was asked to submit my option for choosing pension scheme. I opted for old pension scheme with the undertaking that I will have no objection if university decides to implement NPS wef 2006.
7. Consequent upon submition of my option, I was allotted GPF Account No: DCRU-010 and monthly deductions of GPF amount were made regularly from my salary till my superannuation on 31.12.22.
8. I and my previous deptt. HBH were never asked to carry forward my previous EPF,leave salary and gratuity account.
9.In Nov. 2012, my previous deptt. HBH asked the university Registrar to send my service book for releasing my dues.Accordingly my leave salary for 245 days and gratuity for 27 yrs were released to me by HBH vide order dt 21.01.2013 under intimation to Registrar, DCRUST, Murthal, Sonepat(Hr). Similarly the amount of EPF deposit alongwith employer share and interest were also released to me by EPFO Karnal.
10. But till date DCRUST, Murthal never informed me about placing me NPS as per my undertaking, no NPS account was opened in my name with NPRDA, no employee and employer share was ever deducted and deposited till my date of retirement on 31.12.2022. But monthly deductions on account of GPF were made and deposited regularly in my GPF account allotted by university.
11. Now, on my retirement on 31.12.22 I have been paid leave salary for balance 55 days and gratuity for 6 yrs. But for pensionary benefits, the university administration and accounts section including audit cell are adamant to pay me as per NPS with the plea that formerly I was placed under EPF scheme in HBH wherein no pension is allowed.

. Whereas, the fact is that I have never been considered and informed in NPS or EPF scheme. No deductions and contributions were made and deposited in either of above schemes till the date of my retirement but considered in old pension scheme and GPF contribution was deposited in above mentioned GPF Account allotted by the university. Even the annual GPF Account statements were also served to me every year till retirement.
Sir, in the end, I request you to kindly go through the matter and suggest me the further course of action in the matter please.

Sir NPS ko kitna amount tak pura le sakte aur kitne amount ho ne par share chhodna parta hein.
In case the total corpus in the account is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs as on the Date of Retirement (Government sector)/attaining the age of 60 (Non-Government sector), the Subscriber (other than Swavalamban subscribers) can avail the option of complete Withdrawal.
