The reason to no boost is that truck came with factory ram air intake and when that motor for the intake gets unplugged u need to get a tune that takes that out of the computer it puts it in a low power mode
I just installed a 467.7 on my 15 and I’m struggling to get 10-15psi and truck is a dog. Running a mm3 with 1-5 box tunes. You think a tune will sort this out?
Who has good tuning? We had a local guy thats known for good tuning around here but my brother seems to have more issues after he got it tuned.. and from the research he did he figures the tuning is causing the issues he's having

I cut a little of that plastic piece and threw at heat shield where the down pipe started

@@kyle2182 You'll need the VGT stuff baked out of your tune.
@@kyle2182you will always need to reflash and tune if you drop the VGT. That's eliminating 10-15lbs of boost on a regular fuel file.

With the 467.7 he needs a lot of low end fuel. Mine smokes bad tell it spools but it will moooove once it spools

That degas tank needs to be pressurized. What did you do with that coolant line?
We milled down a bolt to use as a plug and plugged it so it would stay pressurized
What goes in place of that stand pipe to the block. Below the oil filter?

Yeah the truck was retuned but it was after the video
The flat metal is foe the trans dipstick
But that's a g56 so no dipstick ..lol

Try to make another video once you both learn how and when to shift.
Tuning made it drive like shit. It drives like an entire different truck now that it's retuned.
