Japanese spurge? It’s pachysandra, which looks great by itself around a tree, say, but for heaven sakes don’t let it get near your flower garden. It will creep slowly but relentlessly into your beds, and yanking out those thick underground runners will also yank out any plant that have fallen prey to it.
English Ivy is considered invasive in the US

Wintercreeper is, as well, in some zones. Even where it's not, it will crowd out native plants that would be beneficial.

Bugleweed is a weed.
So is Periwinkle/Vinca Minor.
But it is also a beautiful groundcover. Especially chocolate chip ajuga.

Only in the USA I think, because I have most of these in my garden (the Netherlands, Europe), and they're not invasive at all.
