    I think you just helped me figure out what I was doing wrong making my stringers. I wasn't getting it evenly heated. Wow! Thanks you rock.

    I buy the Chinese color rod and tube from Winship Designs. Shipping from way out there is kind of high but the glass is inexpensive. The problem is that there is not a very large selection of colors and they are often out of the diameters I prefer. So, when I see what I want I buy 10-15 pounds of it. I guess I shouldn't complain about shipping charges. I bet yours are outrageous from the U.S.

    we buy from china too, and actually its cheaper, because its a shorter route.
    buying from the US is also not too bad,
    we have an open-commerce-zone agreement with you, less taxes,
    everyone benefits. :-)
    that's why i can buy those solonoid valves from the US.

    took me 6 months to find out
    i must take the rod/tube out of the flame
    when i change hand grip ...
    where did you get the 10mm(?) colour rod?
