Good game, but there is a lot of room to improve your gameplay. If I may criticize: A rush is attacking your enemy at a fast pace by sacrificing your own early game economy. The Dutch are a civ that have a really strong rush (12/10) if the other player is not expecting it. Attacking your enemy at the 6.30 min mark is very late for a Dutch rush. A good China player will almost be ageing to the third age by now (if he is going for a straight FF, which most China players do). If you want, I can give you a very basic build to rush the enemy as fast as possible, but I won't just write it here if you're not interested ^^ (I have a tendency of writing a little bit too much, sorry) Some tips for the actual rush/attack: Scout your enemy base PRIOR to attacking. You're the Dutch, you have 2 scouts (Envoy and Explorer), there is no reason to not use these. If you know where he is gathering, where his most vulnerable spots are (such as houses/villages a long way from home), attack from there, siege his stuff down with the pikemen, kill villies, ... Use your Explorer in combat. He is basically a very strong unit with a great line of sight. Your troops were wandering around kind of aimlessly (also due to the lack of scouting), whilst your Explorer was doing nothing at the bottom of the map. You picked up the 80 food and sadly forgot about him :'( (happens to everyone, btw). He is very useful and I am sure that, if you use him correctly, you will play even better! Put even your envoy in the mix. It's a great meatshield that you won't be using otherwise. Instead of building skirms for a rush, which only counter infantry, you should build more pikes. Pikes are great for sieging, whilst skirms are bad at raiding. Having a few is advisable, but if you're going for the rush, making 10 pikes + 8 from the shipment will tear down all the infrastructure from the other player. Pro tip: put them in cover mode whilst sieging, they will take less damage from the towncentre! Only downside is that they move slower, but hey: they aren't exactly running around when they throw their torches at a TC, right? Just be careful of the minute men. Afterwards, the gameplay was great. You controlled your units really well in that big fight near the end and made up for your loss of eco in the early game. Looking forward to your next video!

A mass of skirms would beat any army he could have produced at that point. I didn't necessarily need to take town his TC right away. I had him boxed in, and his resources were limited. After I realized I couldn't take anything down I just tried to starve him to death.

And you should REALLY have the 1 Bank wagon shipment, its nearly 700 recourses and the building time is gone because no villi has to build it, it helps a LOT

All you need to do to win for sure is first building a market, than placing a bank every time you can place one. youl generate allot of coin pretty fast which you can use to buy wood or food, let 3 villagers chop wood and build a mill (or if you can build a dock, dont gather food with your villagers but with carvels instead). advance to the 3rd age asap so you can build 2 plantations, make sure you get atleast 26 villagers of which 20 will work on the plantations, upgrade your plantations to the max asap as well. all of this will go pretty fast and when your at this point... you have about 90% chance of winning the game.

in how many time you will keeping make mills and plantation and get all mill and plantation upgrade to start make army or even start buy alot food and wood without enime get good eco or start attack you ? people who tried your tips were playing versus CPU on sand box for sure not even versus noob players. Buy wood sometimes to build homes and some other stuffs is one thing but buy food all the time to make army and upgrades is another thing, you will not have coin all the time for that even with 10 banks, 2 factories and 5 plantation in age 5, only way to do that is play with cheat "speed always wins" to get 400 000 coin in some secs to buy food. People can see your tips, make market in age 1 and start make all banks and 1 mills, man collet food on hunt is x3 faster than mills, when will you hit colonial age making all banks and collet food slowly in 1 mill ?, probably in minute 10 or more.
if you want you can try your tips your self versus me on game ranger any day, i will give you time until get age 3 and build 2 plantation and upgrades.
mate, i don't play the game that much anymore these days. i have better and more important things to do since i started living on my own. the tactic i posted is something that always worked for me. sure, there are counter tactics... but if your opponent doesn't know your tactic and you find out the tactic of the other players, you can win pretty much any game. information about the players location, ressource production, military information,... are all equal important to win a battle, same as in real life. Information is the biggest key to victory.
Basically any strategy you want. They have the foundation to rush, turtle, fast fortress, or whatever you can muster with them. Strong late game, and strong villagers vs rushes.
It depends what you are going for. Skirms have longer range and are excellent vs infantry, but will get slaughtered by cav. Musk are best all round, and beat cav. However they have shorter range and are not as good vs infantry as skirms. Its up to you!
