If you used your explorer to get 100 damage on it(not that long to accomplish that) it only takes 4. So you should use 4 on tc and remaining 2 on military building or 2 houses

In WoL there's a similar unit called exploding wagon which can deal massive area dmg to all units , but the cost is expensive
