I had a dream where there was a SCP where it was a doll version of a little boy, and he could make innaminate objects real, and even worse, if he makes the powers of the object real too, like a torch would set thing on fire, and a comedy mask that frowns, he could make it be worn on your face and you would be depressed, i know about this because the dream was about this SCP fighting the scp that kills you if you look at his face.
Logistic SCP Shower Thought: With as many groups of interest as there are, what percent of the population doesn't exist on paper? I assume we don't have hard numbers, but it has to have gotten to a significant percentage right? I wonder if there could be an interesting story in there, like maybe some sort of bureaucrat SCP gets triggered when say 20% of the living human population is 100% off grid and attempts to organize a paranormal census (feel free to steal this idea if it doesn't already exist)
It's not exactly what you described, but there is an article where all the anomalous organizations try to figure out how many people know about anomalies
I would think that the majority of staff for most of the groups of interest do exist on paper and just work for random shell companies on paper. It would probably be only specialists and inner circles who are 100% off-grid. Even the cultists probably exist on paper, they're just also doing cult stuff in their spare time. I like to think about how someone who works for MC&D would fill out their taxes, lol
@@paintthecosmos840yeah, the main exception I can think of is the Serpents Hand, as even if they were civilians prior to joining the hand, The Wanderer’s Library connects a bunch of different universes together so there’s a non zero probability of a lot of them not legally existing due to multiverse shenanigans
Hey, I have an idea about scp 173, what if you had a huge group of d-classes in a room with a TV and strapped a camera to 173’s face, connect the camera’s stream to the TV and then told them to watch it, would it always be immobilised since it’s always being watched?
13:06 on the topic of SCP-055, I’m wondering if SCP-073 would be able to remember what it is. Since he has a photographic memory, he should be able to remember. I’m guessing that even if he remembers and reports it to the scientists, no one will remember what he said, and he can’t exactly write it down himself. The problem is that I remember this came up in the tale “Habil and Qabil,” but that tale actively ignores a lot of SCP rules so it’s hard to say what would happen in universe (for lack of a better term.)
Reminds me of my researcher oc who has an anomalous memory ... could be something like it slips your mind whenever you try recall it. Like when you just barely remember something and you hang in it for hours
“Dr Sherman, I have been asked to acquire the knowledge on rather or not your personal distaste for 049 has anything to do with the countless “tests” between 049 and 113.” - Dr Green
About SCPs and Face blindness: You would 100% still be able to be killed by shy guy and the bodies in the water. I have face blindness and aphantasia, and while some people look very similar to me and I can’t do things like draw them from memory, I can generally know people when I see them, especially if they are very familiar to me, like family. As such, the bodies in the water would still be a problem. Shy guy would still be a problem because four pixels. However… I have thought about if “eldritch” things would affect me, situations where trying to imagine the thing in your head is the hazard, and I’ve determined that may need more time.
16:24 Keep in mind that the GOC was also made as a secret organization against anomalies, it'd be pretty hard for them NOT to find each other. Also, the Chaos Insurgency is an ex-MTF of sorts. They originally worked for the O-5 council as a black-ops group under the name "The Insurgency"
I think for the sake of the roleplay, we're not on YT anymore. We're supposed to be fellow Foundation staff, watching this on some database or something.
My question is Is the pestilence that 049 wants to cure just death, because zombies dont die of old age, and are reanimated, so they are cured of death, and 049 himself hasnt died yet so he probably doesnt have it either
4:42 wait a sec this actually kinda genius. Potentially this going to make 173 basically harmless in future. Just put around it countless camera, and those cameras will be monitored by at least 2 guys 24/7. And it will never freaking move.
Its really cool you did longer answers for this. We are born of the algorithm, made men by the algorithm, and die by the algorithm. Fear the old algorithm.
10:45 Technicaly speaking idk really but if I remember correctly that SCP can not only do that but can give you anything and I mean ANYTHING want a cup of the scarlet kings blood sure here you go want a potion that makes you immune to poison hell go for it this is a SCP that has a multivursial range of effect so technicaly speaking yes it could work you'd just need to specify as a liquid of it can't do solids tho it most likely can if it's extracting lycothemia from d-class
I just realized if the infinite staircase is infinite, that’s an infinite amount of possibilities. Therefore, one of those possibilities would be an end to the infinite staircase. Or am I just high?
It’s a technical possibility. But it would be impossible due to it basically being a paradox. It’s an end to infinity. That is impossible. And the odds as you said are infinitesimally small. The odds as so low it’s practically impossible for you to meet those odds
2:41 my theory on 049 is that hea actually a nice guy and "The Pestilence" is just being a jerk, ive seen multiple depictions of him only being agressive when prevoked, although this would also explain the reason he just wants to "cure" some personel on sight.
“What if, you somehow manage to safely tape a picture of 096’s face onto a Blind persons face, then make ‘em walk around the facility to scare the staff?” -Dr. █████ ‘Cat’
0:47 actually fun fact if we’re going accurately SCP 173 does not walk to snap next nor does he move his arms at all, but everyone knows that he slides across the floor, but he’s actually using telekinesis so your neck would basically just snap without him even touching you
8:52 So all it takes for Shy Guy to come after you is an understanding of its face in true detail. Does that mean if a blind person were to feel its face and get a perfect understanding via touch, would it attack them?
Happy new year Sherman! If only youtube mobile let me comment on shorts I'd have done it but weh Sidenote, if we threw scp 939 into scp 3008... Which would be the bigger threat?
So here's a question. Regarding the pestilence and 049. We know that SCP 294 can get odd requests like a cup of 'joe' and make it work. Would we be able to check a cup of 049's idea of pestilence?
4:30 Reminds me of Chainmail Chasers, brains are biological hard drives. The data is never truly gone once it is created. Like how a computer renders an image, your mind gives form and meaning to information your eyes receive, writing that data to your brain.
9:58 how dare thy compare goc with the chaos insurgency, i wouldnt say they want to destroy destroy destroy, more of they want to destroy destroy destroy the scps and protect humanity
Just gonna point out a few things. 1. An amnestic to forget 096 can come from SCP 300. 2. In 7:03 this has been done before, 096 is literally immortal. Its skeleton is indestructible by default and will continue to fight even if there is no other forms of matter on it
I’d ask the magic coffee machine for a cup of childlike wonder. I feel that’s something I’m missing in life these days, the fascination with new experiences.
Shower thought: What is SCP-500's definition of a disease? Can it remove infohazards like 096's face or SCP-3086 from the mind of subjects? Will 500 cure autoimmune diseases that were caused by the immune system itself overreacting, or would 500 consider that as the body functioning normally?
Ok for the book one, I think either two things happen: First one/good ending: the person just dies. That’s it, like he explained Or second one/bad ending: they proceed to perfectly cut off their skin, most likely starting with the thighs, and use that as paper. And somehow, when the edge of the skin meets the spine of the book, it somehow works. They’re able to write on it and all, possibly after some time, it starts becoming the paper it self. Though I’m guessing like they could only make like, 7, 10 best before sucking to blood loss So yeah, that’s what I got
What if 012 was written by a mechanical robot hand that is controlling by a human? Would the controller just, uh, reset character IRL? Or would the robot hand just give up?
15:12 imo the most likely answer is that the subject will either see that theyve run out of pages, get a breakdown over not being able to write it all out, yell out for more paper and if denied would declare they cant complete it and kill themselves or continue writing on the floors and walls until they bleed out
Okay, obviously a glass hamster wheel isn't going to work for SCP-173. Is there any material strong enough to make an SCP-powered perpetual motion machine possible?
I am sure there is some night in penetrable element that the foundation has discovered. I’m sure it’s in the archives somewhere. If not, then they could always do some reality bending nonsense and get Minecraft bedrock lol
Since you’re answering questions, I have one you know the SCP you know the hole in the wall that gives you something lost. What if you grab a carry a bunch of trash and then just put your hands in it is that how you can get rid of a bunch of trash.
6:30 or 682 could just adapt to not be able to even intake the information of shy guy's face into his mind if 682 figured out that knowing what he looks like is what's causing him to attack
not needed, they actually did the experiment somewhere (though with scp, cannon is taken with a grain of salt so some universes it's not cannon) where they were locked in a room and for over a day the shy guy had been attacking the indestructible reptile before giving up at some point and just sobbing in the corner, and 096 is still afraid of 682 and will no longer fight it
14:52 also, the meatball would not have all the nutrients you need. Secondly, we have the food to solve world hunger, its distruntion thats the problem.
10:15 they might try to kill him for a while, but then realize that hes immortal and kinda lock him in a box, just like what the foundation is doing. But then it somehow encounters another anomaly and absolutely shreds it, so the GOC id like "wait. We can use this." And so they basically turn 682 into a last resort. If they cant kill something by normal means, they throw it into 682s cage and see what happens. Edit: yeah, i can confirm that 055 is not a sphere. I can also confirm that i, wait no, that 055 is not a cat, unlike a certain cross test would make you believe.
5:36 since 096 attacks if you see even the smallest bit would it attack the people who took out the piece of the brain with the memory of 096 inside it? would that count as close enough to seeing it cause you're seeing the piece of the brain and 096 is INSIDE the memory inside the piece of brain...doubt it but curious
I have a question. Maybe you could make a video on it. What is SCP 682? I heard the lizard body isn't its true body/form and something about the tree of knowledge from the Bible.
6:13 this hypothetical is actually answered on 682's test log article
they fought for 27 hours then 096 just basically refused to attack 682 anymore
Yeah I'm actually surprised how he doesn't know about this
And now 096 is traumatized and runs away every time he sees 682
Neither could kill the other, 096’s regeneration was surpirior to 682’s HOWEVER 096 gave up after destroying 80% of 682’s mass and as you stated 096 refused to engage 682 again
Guess it figured out it was useless
To be fair, if I spent 27 hours hitting something and it just stands there and regenerates I'd give up too
8:20 the sculpture just breaking your kneecaps when it can't reach your neck is hilarious
I guess it does that until it can snap your neck again
Fr, I shouldn't have laughed so hard at that though-
I mean... once your kneecaps are broken and you're on the floor screaming in pain, your neck gets real accessible all of a sudden.

Write an article about it! Or a tale, even, if you want to use the fight against 096! You don't have to be an established writer to submit an article!
You look at the shy guy? Rip
Honestly, that sounds like an interesting scp if it doesn't exist already
Hm i heard of something like that or im crazy probably crazy been in the infinite ikea for too long i found a door but its locked
Permission to make an SCP of it?
Logistic SCP Shower Thought: With as many groups of interest as there are, what percent of the population doesn't exist on paper? I assume we don't have hard numbers, but it has to have gotten to a significant percentage right? I wonder if there could be an interesting story in there, like maybe some sort of bureaucrat SCP gets triggered when say 20% of the living human population is 100% off grid and attempts to organize a paranormal census (feel free to steal this idea if it doesn't already exist)
It's not exactly what you described, but there is an article where all the anomalous organizations try to figure out how many people know about anomalies
were the link @@sylviastone7951 were the link
Best SCP TH-camr
Can't agree more
SCP Shower thought:
Given what SCP-6969 does, how many *freaky* researchers have been fired or died trying to use it?
6:34 we have tried to get 096 to destroy 682, yet it ended with 096 being traumatized. -Kaustoaway
5:50 Twitch streams have a few seconds of delay even on low latency mode, so would that still cause 173 to freeze?
5:18 that’s called a gun🤣
I mean, that will kill the patient
@Aaa-vp6ugbut it works
Lobotomy
@Aaa-vp6ug nah it just makes you forget how to live
This was a very entertaining video, good job on making it! :3
1:15 So hulk's pants basically
“Dr Sherman, I have been asked to acquire the knowledge on rather or not your personal distaste for 049 has anything to do with the countless “tests” between 049 and 113.”
- Dr Green
"We're very good at hiding knowledge of anomalies" he says to his TH-cam channel that anyone in the world can fIndand learn from
I think for the sake of the roleplay, we're not on YT anymore. We're supposed to be fellow Foundation staff, watching this on some database or something.
@Nervous_Ari ik but I was just jokin
only accounts in the foundation can see these on yt. also, yt is owned by the scp
If SCP-682 saw 096's face, we would all be screwed, because SCP-682 could put the image into our heads and get us all killed...
You might want to read the termination logs...
My question is
Is the pestilence that 049 wants to cure just death, because zombies dont die of old age, and are reanimated, so they are cured of death, and 049 himself hasnt died yet so he probably doesnt have it either
I love this show. -your local talking pumpkin, who's munching on popcorn and watching this through security feeds.
6:44 this is actually hypothizied in one of the logs.
They can only test the drink maker so often because it can be very temperamental
04:25 no because when the alpinists took a photo of thems3lf they didn’t even see scp-096
Your my favorite researcher
What i love about this channel is how he is not a freebooter he actually takes time to just show the video then talks
I have a shower thought. Could a machine complete SCP-012? It hasn’t have any blood and can be repaired.
I doubt it would be compelled to.
Hypothetically though, what if researchers programmed the machine to finish the peace through some method.
@ low but not impossible *insert Vsauce theme*
2:41 my theory on 049 is that hea actually a nice guy and "The Pestilence" is just being a jerk, ive seen multiple depictions of him only being agressive when prevoked, although this would also explain the reason he just wants to "cure" some personel on sight.
love these vids, but now i want swedish meatballs .
0:44 "alright I snapped the guys neck now how do I get back up"
7:59 even if you can’t it will kill you “four fucking pixels”
I love you reacting to one of my fav creators, I also love your work, keep it up! ❤
Two great tastes that taste great together!
“What if,
you somehow manage to safely tape a picture of 096’s face onto a Blind persons face, then make ‘em walk around the facility to scare the staff?”
-Dr. █████ ‘Cat’
No Dr Shaw we are NOT doing that
@ *Clears throat*
“Why’d ya think it’s Shaw and not just another insane ∞ researcher? Hmm? ◡̈"
-Dr. █████ 'Cat'
@Dr-Val-Cat because *-he’s holding me hostage-* I don’t know who else it’d be
0:47 actually fun fact if we’re going accurately SCP 173 does not walk to snap next nor does he move his arms at all, but everyone knows that he slides across the floor, but he’s actually using telekinesis so your neck would basically just snap without him even touching you
9:33 What about SCP-1529?
Which one is that?
8:52 So all it takes for Shy Guy to come after you is an understanding of its face in true detail. Does that mean if a blind person were to feel its face and get a perfect understanding via touch, would it attack them?
'perfect detail'?
it was 4 pixels. i think if they have a vision like the blind serfer (pete gustin) they would trigger him
hes on yt btw, i would get got if i posted a link tho
@@1tgb4yb25ub5ub Well, maybe not perfect detail. I guess “true detail” would be a better term
4:15 you killed us all lol
13:27 "oh that thing?? its %$%$& ...... i guess i can't say it.... well you'll figure it out eventually"
If you taped a picture of 096 to 055, saw it, and then left, would the skinny hungry man come to eat you, or would it delete it from your head?
HOLY HELL, it's been awhile since I've seen one of Sherman's videos and bros chanced a lot. Did not expect that whiplash.
UNDER AN HOUR GANG?!
if a blind person rubbed their hands across 096s face and that allowed them to understand its shape, would they die?
Happy new year Sherman! If only youtube mobile let me comment on shorts I'd have done it but weh
Sidenote, if we threw scp 939 into scp 3008... Which would be the bigger threat?
absolutely in love with this format
Glad to hear it! It was a great experiment, and be ready to see more coming soon! 🚀🙏
0:40 Simple, he uses his legs to break your neck.
5:00 what if it was an anomalous amnestic that was initially designed specifically to forget the SCP in its entirety even at a subconscious level?
While scp 3008-1 wouldn’t neccesarily enrage 096 at first they would attack 096, Which would Cause it to lash out anyway.
So here's a question. Regarding the pestilence and 049. We know that SCP 294 can get odd requests like a cup of 'joe' and make it work. Would we be able to check a cup of 049's idea of pestilence?
How did he think thesse
By showering it’s in the title
4:30
Reminds me of Chainmail Chasers, brains are biological hard drives. The data is never truly gone once it is created. Like how a computer renders an image, your mind gives form and meaning to information your eyes receive, writing that data to your brain.
9:58 how dare thy compare goc with the chaos insurgency, i wouldnt say they want to destroy destroy destroy, more of they want to destroy destroy destroy the scps and protect humanity
the chaos insurgency uses scps it doesnt destroy them
@ I mean kind of? Serpents hand uses scps more I feel. I think the CI would just sell them to the serpents or GOC.
5:51 god I hope not imagine SCP-096 would be live streaming 😨.
I just read "SCPgyatt"😭
Just gonna point out a few things.
1. An amnestic to forget 096 can come from SCP 300.
2. In 7:03 this has been done before, 096 is literally immortal. Its skeleton is indestructible by default and will continue to fight even if there is no other forms of matter on it
Hi
5:57 “I would do good on twitch”
-plague doctor
“Also when someone stares at scp-096’s face why does he get so mad?”
-plague doctor
I heard somewhere that 173 snaps peoples necks telepathically.
Ok for the book one, I think either two things happen:
First one/good ending: the person just dies. That’s it, like he explained
Or second one/bad ending: they proceed to perfectly cut off their skin, most likely starting with the thighs, and use that as paper. And somehow, when the edge of the skin meets the spine of the book, it somehow works.
They’re able to write on it and all, possibly after some time, it starts becoming the paper it self. Though I’m guessing like they could only make like, 7, 10 best before sucking to blood loss
So yeah, that’s what I got
What if 012 was written by a mechanical robot hand that is controlling by a human? Would the controller just, uh, reset character IRL? Or would the robot hand just give up?
4:02 "we treat all these guys super well, don't look into it' meanwhile the immortal lizard behind him XD
What happens if a Siamese twin looks at SCP-096? Will SCP-096 kill both of them or just the one who looked at it?
15:12
imo the most likely answer is that the subject will either see that theyve run out of pages, get a breakdown over not being able to write it all out, yell out for more paper and if denied would declare they cant complete it and kill themselves or continue writing on the floors and walls until they bleed out
Okay, obviously a glass hamster wheel isn't going to work for SCP-173.
5:11 if only there were some kind of machine that could make a serum that could make you forget specifically 096
Hmm... if only if only
I wonder
what if we have SCP-682 meet with SCP-012?, like would 682 keep writing on 012 forever and both would be neutralized?
“I’m going to have a migraine….*takes a sip of coffee*” -Dr. Shade
“Hey I’ve been talking to 049 no progress so far, he is asking for a chocolate bar.” -Dr Az
"Why is nobody asking, if this guy has clearance to this information?" - Senior Researcher Eros, slightly worried
This is absolutely incredible content!! I can’t believe I never ran into this before. I have foundation content
2:46 what about thaumaturgic seals tho.
I have a question. Maybe you could make a video on it. What is SCP 682? I heard the lizard body isn't its true body/form and something about the tree of knowledge from the Bible.
