I'm really really glad that I discovered the greatness in this phenomenal rock band, before it was too late for me. These two heroes, deserves all the praise in the world. They're the most important band to come out of England since the Sex Pistols.
I hadn't heard of these fellas until today. They popped up while I was listening to Amyl and the Sniffers. I'm glad they did. This is good stuff. Eloquent, to the point, and relatable to a lot of folks. (The song Jobseeker in particular hit with me today because I just got back from a job interview. Ha!) I hope they'll keep rocking for years to come.
Where have these guys been my whole life? Lol I just found them by accident...watching punk documentaries n bunch of kunst was recommended....I'm fucking addicted!!! Btw...54 yr old american broad here and when I listen to sleaford mods so does everyone in my fucking bldg!! First new stuff I've liked in 20+years!
My friend is the driver who drives them where ever they need to be..and even he has a little following. Hes Also featured on a video or two. In fact hes doing something with them (driving them around) as we speak. 😜

I'm an American in Trump's hellscape economy during Covid time and I think Sleaford Mods are one the most important voices period, let alone just musically, who are saying honestly and with no pretense what life is like for those who get ground up by the machinery of venture Capitalism. It ain't pretty music for pretty people, but boy will it do for me!
@@checktheskies5040 As I said I'm American. I understand some of Jason's lyrics and subject matter partly because I have heard many interviews with him and Andrew, look up the lyrics on a website and have watched enough films, documentaries and follow the doings of British culture to be in tune with societal issues. Some of his hyper specific references do escape me but I definitely understand where Sleaford Mods are coming from generally. And as far as how things are? Well....we booted Trump. So, Hurrah!
