Yes some people are the worst. I actually reported a player for the first time yesterday for botting and intentionally losing. Homie hero powered and roped every single turn 😢
I feel like that Priest at the end was playing the game on an old machine. They played slowly after every card played and I can imagine even when they press end turn it lagged behind and then slowly caught up to Mark's animations
As someone who used to play Hearthstone way back on an old home computer running Vista, the fact they held over the 4/6 taunt for so long even after they used the location at 21:05 is a telltale sign
I love this channel so much. It’s so creative all the time. You constantly ask “What’s the most complicated and convoluted way I can kill my opponent in 1 turn?” It’s always great
Awesome! I also noticed that Blizzard changed the animations to fit 8 minions on the board perfectly. Would this be an indication of a future card effect that allows it? Or has it been already behaving like this for some time?
I've been out of the game for a while, but keep up with odd gameplay. It does seem to be a newer change, so maybe a new minion might change the number of minions on the board. Either a Druid mirrored effect for both people or a specific class card. Might even be a new challenge enemy that does it?
I was initially confused by this too, but turns out it has always been like that. In theory, you can have an infinite amount of tokens/units on the board, Blizzard simply limited it to 7 for the purpose of easier game play balance as well as player readability (keep in mind, the game was developed with the intention to supply it for mobile devices too!). The reason in this instance it actually shows 8, is because by the time he plays minion number 8, minion number 7 already is not on the board any more in the first place. But because the animations are slow as fuck, it still shows it on the board, for again player readability, so you can follow what is actually happening. In this particular instance tho, this is one of only very few interactions, where the minion summoned also instantly leaves the board again through it's deathrattle being triggered right away. So, no, I would not take this as a particular indication for something new coming. But I also wouldn't rule it out.
@@crkTyphoon I remember that previously such combos would visually break the board and you would see the minions going through the history bar and deck. Now the size of the minions gets reduced so you can see them all instead, so the devs have at least made some minor QoL change if it is not an indication of some new effect.
Could also be because they made a secret easteregg when you have a specific shaman deck you're put to a puzzle where every location and every class legendary (nathria) is on the board
So wait, is the cube only in there to make it so you can cycle the saurfangs and play them faster? Because assuming infinite time, you don't need the cube, right? Or am I missing something?
Interesting small detail here that might assume something in the future: 10:00 Do you see how minions over max (7) capacity are reduced in size INSTEAD of getting over the board like always has been? It might be just a bug (Or a bug fix) or Blizz tinkered with a code to allow board to have more than 7 minions at once. Only assumptions here so nothing official but it's interesting they 'wasted' their time to improve this tiny detail
@@gargaduk No no, as you seen in the video, Mark 'played' more than 7 minions (Actually animations and stuff are too slow) but earlier it was shown like this: normally-sized minions going out of border. In this video they're getting reduced in size so they can actually fit in board. As I said, it might be just a coincidence but if they really put an effort into making this change I'm theorizing that there might be a card in future that either splits board or increases limit of minions beyond 7 minions Edit: I hope it makes my 1st comment more clear
As someone who used to play Hearthstone way back on an old home computer running Vista cause it was all I could play, the fact they held over the 4/6 taunt for so long even after they used the location at 21:05 is a giveaway in my eyes.
You say that some people are just the worst people for roping, but Blizzard's recommendations on how to play the game explicitly state "Take your time You’ve got a whole 90 seconds before the rope eventually burns down and you pass your turn. Take some time to think through your available options before playing your cards. You may discover an awesome play you almost overlooked!", so you might as well thank them.
Either InfiniteTaco doesn't know they're allowed to think through their plays on your turn as well as theirs or they just set a 30 second timer on their phone some time during each of their turns so they can stop and meditate and let you meditate with them. 🤔
This is such a ridiculous combo 😂 I'd give it a go, But I know I wouldn't mald at dirty rats completely shutting it down, And how consistent this has to be
I was also confused but then I figured it out. His deathrattle says "return this to your hand..." so when you play him, umbra triggers his deathrattle and returns him to your hand, which is represented by him "dieing"
@@Spartan117xxxxxx uhm. I see. I guess that the 8 minion thing is just an artifact, then of one actually alive SF and then the hand one being played while another dies.
Yup the only reason "8 minions are on the board" is because it's actually just 7 but 1 hasn't finished his dying animation yet. Apparently there was an update in Nathria for a minigame that allowed the game to have max 10 minions, before that update wasn't possible to have "8 minions"
I have an idea for a Rivendare deck: Play Shaman and after you play Rivendare you can draw the other 3 Horsemen with Prescience. Then just play From de other Side for the OTK
@@ROTMGmimighster What I think's going on is you're playing 1 at a time, but 2 Saurfangs keep the animations continuously going. If there was no cube: 1 Saurfang would resolve, it would return to your hand, then there would be dead time where nothing's happening between when you get it in your hand and when you play it again. You spend a very small amount of time setting up the cube, but because animations are always rolling you save time in the end.
@@ROTMGmimighster There 2 Saurfangs on board so that you can play one while the other one is dying to speed up the combo, with only one it would de too slow and you would run out of time.
Much as I want to shake my fist at the priest roping every turn, I've wound up roping near every turn sometimes, including missing stuff like easy hero powers. Why? Lag. Very bad lag. As in disconnecting basically every turn lag, and more or less getting maybe half your turn and not knowing if you actually got your plays off lag. That's no fun for anyone on either side of the match when it happens. And given some of the ropes were on very easy turns that included missed hero powers? That might have been a priest yelling at their connection deciding that being faster than a 56k clunker was optional.

I love your content, watching it for years now and I admire your creativity around deck building but you really need to stop the whining about everything all the time. Rope, bad RNG, bad card draw etc. You play convoluted deck combinations and play against real people so you really shouldn't be surprised if cards don't come like you need it or people who don't play this game professionally need a little longer making their turns. I understand that your approach is like a constant revenge against every player worth being punished in a game you openly despise but it's tainting your otherwise admirable content to hear you cry about everything everytime
Hate the playwrs like last priest. Everything golden so he either spend lot of money or played for incredibly long (rather 1st option tho) just to be the biggest shit in existence.
Hello Mark, I like your videos most of the times and I understand pulling off those combos can be quite a chore as you try to get one out every day, but I do have to say your commentary sometimes feels just too salty. @@MCBlade2562 the fact that the priest fails to spend mana while having an infinite shadow thing in hand definitely points to them having some serious technical issues. honestly it's a miracle Mark could pull off the combo without that person disconnecting completely.
@@neilu7132 That's a fair assumption as well.
