- The goal of this Wild Hearthstone Thief Priest OTK combo deck is to use The Harvester of Envy combined with Murloc Holmes! We do this by playing Murloc Holmes or Mind Vision to get a copy of the opponent's Quest. Then, we play The Harvester of Envy and the Quest to steal it permanently! Super fun meme deck! Good luck!

@An unknown uncontained SCP Remornia is easy, handbuffs and Charge, and Pelagos could be used with a Charge minion and Health buffs.

Shifter Zerus and Chameleos are apparently still themselves until they are on the battlefield. The only reason I know this is because of Battlegrounds. Shifter won't triple with a pair until it's played.
Yeah, you aren't stealing the copy of the card with Chameleos, he himself just copies it turn after turn.
How does one even manage to get a golden zerus in battlegrounds?
@@mr.mystery9338 you can play it when you buy it so it wont transform or just be lucky enough to buy 3 zerus on 1 round.

"After you play a card copied from the opponent steal the original", Chameleos becomes a copy of a card in your opponent’s hand. By all means, it is a copy from your opponent. It doesn’t read that YOU had to copy it, if chameleos does it that should work too.
If Chameleos still reads as its own minion then that’s just a coding error and shouldn’t be intentional because the wording suggests otherwise.
Murloc Holmes deserves a major buff. Wherein you get every card you guess right, and go through all 3 questions no matter what.
Yeah, I crafted it and regret it so much that I don't include it in my deck anymore since I never get all 3 right. I'm thinking to disenchant it to be able to craft another legendary instead.
That would make it a guarantee that you get the quest or win condition (shard) everytime it shows up as an option though, which is sadly much too strong for them to allow. It would be a tonne of fun though (for the Holmes user of course). If it was that good and everyone ran it, it would be an amazing kind of chaos all the time!
@@ARavingLobster Just make it like whichever option you get right, you get a copy of it, or something.
Like you have thoughtsteal for instance, 2 mana get 2 copies of cards and much more other steal/copy cards but without body.
But this one is a legendary so you only can have one copy of it.
They should make it so if you guess 2/3 correctly, you get 1 of the correct guesses at random. Although tbh, even that buff might make it too strong of a card. Generic 3 3/4 body w/ (mostly) reliable card advantage that sometimes gives you a huge amount of extra resources for free.
I just don't think making a 3 3/4 neutral minion ubiquitous in every non-hard-combo/hard-aggro/full-tribal deck is a good idea to risk, even if it's a flavorful legendary that doesn't decide games on its own.
I do like the idea of buffing Holmes into playability though, definitely lame that he shows up literally no where in the post-balance change meta.
Maybe if they keep the restriction where you only see the next choice if you get the previous choice correct, and if you guess the first 2 correctly, you get 1 of those at random?
I guess the Chameleos interaction makes sense.
The Harvester of Envy states "After you play a card copied from the opponent"
While Chameleos states "Transform into a card your opponent is holding"
Chameleos isn't copying a card from the opponent, it is itself transforming into a different card (With the card pool being limited to what's in the opponents hand)
It'd be like if Bandersmosh randomly transformed into a Legendary that the opponent has, it's not copying from the opponent it is just transforming itself into a different card.
consistently inconsistent. honestly they should change the way that interaction works so it actually fits with priests identity. seems pretty silly
Reminds me of when you buffed a Chameleos in your hand making it a 6/5 Minion which then copied the Anduin Hero in the opponent's hand and killed itself when played making you lose.
Yeah, no issues here at all.
This is insane!! One could also run some ressurection in this deck to ensure the harvester of envy can come back!
with how few the minions are in the deeck you can resurrect it consistently

This is crazy!!! I love it!!
I had a guy delay playing the Mage Quest (Time Warp) a few turns and managed to get a copy out of his hand. I got to test thus myself (suspecting it would just just destroy their Quest when I played the copy) and was so pleased with myself. I then proceeded to steal a bird, ripping one out if their deck, and double Seance. Was so satisfying.

That's hilarious. Just imagining the confusion the opponent must of had was great.
You caught in the same video both reasons why I got SO DISSAPOINTED by Harvester.
1. The options of getting your opponent's quest are so few and so awkward to play that is just impossible to do it in competitive(literally only Holmes that is such a bad card). Stealing the overpowered quest was one of the main reasons I got hopes for Harvester but there's no combo.
2. HE DOESN'T WORK WITH CHAMELEOS. Come on Blizzard! That's the only good card that could combo great with Harvester because you could constantly try to snipe the combo piece. But it doesn't work, I've never been so dissapointed in Hearthstone like I was when I found out.
The entire expansion has just been absolutely dogshit... they fucked their game up yet again in the name of money...

You can. I was messing with this card with my friend yesterday. Insane winrate in standard playing it on a Renatal Quest deck.
Harvester technically works on anything that isn’t a hero card that has been played

I have to say, I fully agree with the chamelios interaction. It's hard to see if you are playing it, but when you play the card it starts as chamelios then becomes the other card, so if he had chame in hand still you would have stolen that, or at least should have

Yes for all except hero cards. You mind control minions to your side and delete the enemy secret.

what happened if you steal a hero card? Imagine it reverts your opponent back to their original hero.
I imagine he would steal the enemy hero and win immediately, because you can't revert a hero, it's like transforming a minion, once it transforms it can't go back.
Would it also work with a questline after the opponent has already finished a part of it? The steps are different cards, aren't they?
Considering the Chameleos interaction: At first I didn't understand it as well, because I thought it said "transform into a copy of ...", but actually Chameleos just transforms into the card itself. So technically, it's not a copy. Very nitpicky, but probably Harvester of Envy just checks for a "created by" tag or something like that, which Chameleos wouldn't have?
You, sir, have the patience of Job to pull off these highly luck dependent combos. I hope that moment when your opponent moused over the card in confusion was worth it!

I play questline hunter in wild so Mark's video here taught me a lesson to always kill a priest's Murloc Holmes...
You shouldn't worry about questline unless you want to keep quest reward in your hand for a turn. I bet questline steal only works on the first stage.

Yeah chameleos isn't really copying a card. It doesn't create a physical copy in hand it just changes itself into a copy of a card. I honestly didn't expect it to work.

I really wish the weird pedantic hearthstone rules were given another onceover to make them make more sense and make combos more viable. The fact that the neutral Theotar is stealing decks' Denathrius on Turn 4 and making them concede but Harvester, which would need a discount to be able to combo with Denathrius, doesnt work (because each infuse "updates" the card) is so sad.

Yes there is that card [Discover Un'Goro] only problem there is that's a Warrior Card and Harvester of envy is a Priest legendary and even then it should only take the one copy that you used.

That wouldn't work. All those cards are still different cards. After all, when you play a copy of a card your opponent has two of in his deck, you still only get the one card.

murloc holme is impossible to guess first and second untill they play them or have a way to track all the cards on the left(taking notes down whenever they play a card)....the second one however..outright impossible unless played lazul to get a little sneak peak at 5-10 cards..which would be 15-33% success....apparently the third selection is 2 cards they played + 1 which they haven't play(more realistic for third but demand a good memory)

(regarding the last clip) Of course it didn't work against Priest. You were playing against Priest. Blizzard has hard-coded rules to ensure priest wins with whatever ass-pull it needs.
A lot of cards should work with harvester but dont, so sad

I hate to sound overly PC but I dislike how you always use he/him pronouns for opponents. Small issue but just sounds jarring when most others can adjust
