    I'm from Arlington. I got a weed possession charge about 5-6 years ago. My lawyer just so happened to have represented Dime and Phil on the charge they're talking about in the vid. When you walk into his office, he's got they're mugshots blown up and autographed by the boys. They gave him a platinum record of Far Beyond to put on his wall....it's right between the mugshots. Anyways, I got my case dismissed. I'm pretty sure they did, too...if I remember correctly.

      Awesome! I don't get to this day how you can consciously choose to make weed illegal and keep drugs with more lethal capacity legal. Best lawyer ever!

      “He had made it through a close call, relatively unscathed. On January 21, 1991, on tour supporting Cowboys from Hell, he was arrested in Santa Rosa County in Florida and charged with possession of marijuana, a first-degree misdemeanor, exactly the situation he’d once feared. But it turned out to be no big deal: He pleaded no contest to the charge on May 22, after he’d returned home from Europe, and it more-or-less went away. ”
      Excerpt From: Zac Crain. “Black Tooth Grin.” Apple Books.

    That's right metal is for everyone im black and I love metal I got put on metal when I was 12 from a friend of mine im 24 now so I've been listening to it for a while. It doesn't matter what color you rap is for everyone metal is for everyone, country etc if thats what you like go for it. It shouldn't matter what color you are i'm starting up a all black metal band I think metal needs that right now but like i was saying metal is for everyone listen to what you love.

    Obviously Phil get's quoted as a racist quite often and i don't really agree with a lot of the shit he say's but from interviews like this you kinda get the idea that his heart is in the right place and he claims to be against racism and discrimination. I think a lot of the controversial side to him stems from confusion and difficulty to covey what he feels. You have to remember the guy was seriously addicted to heroin as well as being the frontman of the biggest metal band on earth.

  • @loombaron
    @loombaron 13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I ll make three points for all ya.
    1. It was the media (fucking MTV, VH1, magazines) just for selling news that said Phil is racist. You gotta read NO GOOD lyrics from VULGAR DISPLAY OF POWER ,totally anti-racist lyrics.
    2.Don´t mind those skinhead jerks who think Pantera is racist just because Phil shaves his head sometimes and all band members are white.
    3. Pantera is excellent music with good lyrics and content, is not a stupid racist harcore band.
    CONCLUSION: FUCK THE MEDIA, RIP DIME

    @dinkthestink123 Indeed, flags are not, and cannot be racist by themselves, its their mis-use that stirs up conflict.
    I'm Scottish and I detest how our Lion Rampant flag is abused by white supremecists who use it as one of their emblems. It has NOTHING to do with race hate, it was merely a royal standard for our nation many centuries ago. So it really angers me to think that Americans not familiar with what that flag is actually about may think its some kind of KKK flag.
