One more reason why I skipped the 40 series. This connector is a fire hazard
I like your editing, the memes and jokes sprinkled here and there never fails to make me smile. Great video as always!
These connectors are such trash, God help us.
40 series resale value will be trash just like 2080 TI was.....20 and 40 series plagued with issues, 30 series just had hot memory that was fixed with different pads and needed GPU support brackets
Flat sister XD
I still cant believe some engineer actually thought smaller connector and more power is some how better. I bet youll see this card again for the same reason.
Ugh this title gave me anxiety. I hope this doesn’t happen to me
Lol what a flop of a connector!
I can give you 10000000 likes just for the "Flat" comments......
That is awesome, that was my video card. It actually worked incredibly well under load with that messed up connection. I stressed tested it with MW2, Starfield and 3D Benchmark and no issues. Word to the wise, do not use cablemod's 90/180 degree adapters.
Alex's method with the solder sucker seemed to work pretty well, think he has it pretty figured out.
Very nice solder. It's like...Better than factory or something.
I'm loving the step by step commentary in this video. Really made the whole experience suspenseful! Great work as usual. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see what you work on next!
Excellent job, not that I expected anything less from you for this simple thing Tony 👍
Great job and even the LED survived.
Phenomenal work with this connector replace! Especially love the Count insert. Was thinking the same thing at the time haha. The Rock also gives me a good laugh.
Oh boy, 12VHPWR connector. There are so many problems with them especially within RTX 4090s.
This video was timely, for me.
One of the greatest videos so far! Thank you!
That's the way, minimal tool usage. I just use to dip the pins into fluxhoney before attaching the "spiderleg" chips n connectors into the pcb. Loved the closeup view!
