    To combat the differing lengths of grip - prior to putting the grips on you could sort the grips shortest - longest then put the shortest on your pitching wedge and longest on your driver to match the differing shaft length? Just a thought

    I found that if you use a spray bottle and spray both the tape and inside the grips then they go on great coz you know what happens if you don't put enough spirit on🤔....🎊🌟🤩🥳
    PS give the grips a good clean before using them then that should stop any colour bleeding 😵‍💫

    The weight range tolerances of them is enough to change swing weight. You might save £30, but the grief they cause over time isn't worth the saving. Not to mention ripping through gloves because of the paint transfer and the harsher chord they use, and try getting the colour out of your hands after a round. They are seriously not worth the hassle to save £30. Support your local pro shop, instead of filling the pockets of companies who never pay tax in the UK. Use the Golf Pride Retail locator to make sure that they are listed as a main seller. Honestly a joke how bold companies are getting selling fake gear to us.

    • @G_Man392
      @G_Man392 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The saving is a lot more than £30 though. A set of 13 multicompounds on Temu for just shy of £30 delivered. Genuine Golf Pride Multicompund are £12 a pop so 13 will set you back £156. They are easy enough to fit yourself as Gary has shown so the saving is over £120. Even if you regripped using these twice a season there is still a significant saving.

    • @TenPester
      @TenPester 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@G_Man392 It was a while ago, so I don't know why I said £30. Maybe referencing something said in the video, not sure. I just wouldn't use them myself for the simple reason of weight tolerances. The fake ones are all over the place, and can really mess with the swing weight of your clubs. A really important thing people overlook. To each their own though. It's not always important to people.

    when I re-grip my clubs I always use proper grip tape, I don't see the point using the wrong kind of tape. It's like you're deliberately setting up these grips to fail!

    Is that because your not using the correct tape?

      No, they’re actually easier to align when the tapes a-bit gripper, i should of cut one to look inside, I think they’re just aren’t quite perfectly round. I mean, I were being picky, they weren’t bad, just not as good as real.

    Oh. Just a serious point. Are you leaving yourself open to legal action from golf pride for buying /advertising counterfeit products??

      It’s not illegal to buy counterfeit goods in the UK, it’s illegal to make and sell them. Thanks Colin

    The golf industry is built on deception and snobbery. These grips are as near as makes no difference to the expensive ones. Always makes me laugh when a new set of irons comes to market and the hype begins on what basicallly is a lump of steel (within specifications) glued to a piece of mass produced length of low grade chrome plated steel. Come on get real. The fact that you may be put off by the fact that it might get your expensive glove dirty is a bit tragic.
