There is a place with a sign called Transfer to Oia by Speedboat. We paid to go on the boat and bus which was enjoyable. I can’t recall how much it was per person. Maybe ~30€? Just note that when you get dropped back off in Fira, it’s a bit of a walk to the cable car.
Would love to know how long you had to wait to get a tender time and the time you got. Going on the same cruise a few weeks and any information would be appreciated.
Hi, thank you so much for watching! They advertised that tender tickets would be distributed at 9:30am. I arrived at 9am and they already started. We waited maybe 30-40 minutes for our number 19(?) to be called, but it took long to get off the ship. Fortunately, we were one of the last ones on the tender so we didn't have to wait in the sun. They don't provide times; they call numbers like they do on disembarkation day.
We’ve just been on this cruise. What a fantastic holiday! If you haven’t been to Santorini before, I highly recommend an excursion. Our experience was horrendous as we decided to walk up the hill, I had sandals on and they completely torn apart and i fell twice on the way down. One lady broke her leg. I really hate complaining but I can’t get the donkeys out if my head. They are abused and forced to carry people up and down that hill all day in boiling hot weather with little to no food/water 😢 I did it once and it killed me, I was exhausted the day after, I gym 4x per week and am fit, poor babies 😢😢
This looks like a shit show; already, feeling the stress and frustration of hurry up and wait. I'll be out there in Sept 2023 and have a pre-arranged excursion, hope we don't lose precious hours just being herded like cattle.
