Is it necessary to devide it into two parts (theta 1 and theta 2.....
Can't it be done by taking only single part (theta)?

then how will u cancel cos theta component

How can there be tension in the ring because wouldn't it cancel out with the tension coming from the other way round the ring if that makes sense? I mean because it's not a rod or string it's one whole connected ring so there are no distinct ends so how can there be a tension throughout it without it cancelling out itself?

Can you please explain the physical orientation of the problem with an arrangement drawing.
My questions/doubt s are as follows-
    1) Is the ring not moving over the table like bicycle.
    OR
The ring is made to rotate in a particular point in table about its own axis ?
    2) are these tension T external tangential tension force applied so that ring always in contact with table?

it is moving along its own axis , suppose a massless rod is passing through its cantre towards y axis , we are viewing the ring from top it is lying flat on the table means its plane is parallel to table surface

You will understand the question better if you assume that this rod is rotated in space.
