Mayweather is why I wish sports games had an option to hide the ratings from the user. Give us general impressions, and numbers where appropriate (40 times, etc.), but let us try to figure out the rest based on performance in practice and games. When you can see all the numbers, you know that eventually Mayweather is going to play like a sub-75-overall QB, because you know that's what he is. It takes away from the drama.

I can't shake the sense his ceiling is too low for him to be the long-term answer, but man, it is torrentially refreshing to see Mayweather make the kind of throws this franchise's other QBs have so frequently whiffed on. In any case, the Falcons continue to give this series its most memorable duels… and we continue to be on the wrong side of their outcomes. Alas.
Normal dev and lower injury rating is difficult to trust long term. But I want to keep playing to see how long he can keep this up. Feels completely different than the other QBs we have had.

I really like the look of Alex Sharpe, it isn't very often the Madden generates a player that is both excellent and man coverage and has Press ability.

There are six 5-10 teams who had a positive point differential including the '08 Packers at +29. 24 such teams in NFL history had a better point differential than this one. Still much more competitive than last season's team at the same point though.
This situation is essentially what happened with Minshew on the Jags…sure he’s a decent enough option but if there’s better out there take that opportunity to upgrade
i know these past two franchises have been hard, the titans had a bunch of those ups and downs, and now the saints have this qb drama, but its felt so unique, instead of the formula of tank for two years then dominate. its awesome to see
Mayweather has to be the guy unless you can get a guaranteed blue chip qb in the draft or somehow a top five qb ends up in free agency. And even then he's still worth keeping around as the best backup option regardless.
Mayweather puts us in a great spot. We can draft a blue chip QB or if we don't feel like they are game changers we can go elsewhere to build the team and stick with Mayweather.

Cane feel like you did miller AT and jacoby so dirty this year killer did enough last year to start over Alvin AT and jacoby were so good last year to have their playing time and stats regress like they have and possibly a dev change if they played more this year

In the last episode you were talking about shoring up the middle of the field coverage. Jabrill Peppers has done a lot of that in New England and when he was with the Giants. He can play that sub linebacker role in nickel/dime sets and he’s an elite run defender for a safety. I know it’s a bit video gamey but could be a possible solution, and also give you an excuse to check out Stoutmire at safety on passing downs
If Cane could sign Lance and Darnold to battle it out for the starting job last offseason, I don't see why he can't draft another QB and have him and Mayweather do the same. Both players would be worlds better than the previous desultory duo.

That last play seems to be a bug or something. I've had that happen countless times. Especially in training camp. But as you can see, it happens in game too.
Mayweather has looked good but I feel a lot of his plays are wide open receivers or just lucky heaves. He’s done a great job doing the simple things right which easily makes him a better option than Lance but I still think you have to go with Ainsworth or Westbrook in the draft.
If I can offer some constructive advice, I think this team would win more games if they scored way more points, and didn't let the opposing team score so many points. I don't know why Cane doesn't try that.
I said beginning of the year to trade Kamara and Lattimore for draft picks. Some said that was a dumb idea since the Saints were in contention for the division. Well they were wrong. Kamara could have got a 3rd rounder and Lattimore a 1st rounder.

From what I've seen this game, and some before is u get caught usering an edge on inside run plays alot. Unfortunately with how madden works this year the AI linemen only use 1 pass rush point on a play and if they fail they just stand there glued to the O-lineman. So u end up get screwed cause the AI gives up so i thought at least by usering the inside linemen u can affect the run game enough to stop every team from avg 8 yard to having them closer to 4. Just a suggestion I'm sure you have thought about this more than I have. Hope next year we see a massive step forward for the defense and are new franchise QB Money Mayweather 💰
