Performed by the Dexter Community Orchestra, Dexter High School Chamber Orchestra, and the Washtenaw Orchestra Choir. December 14th 2014 at Hill Auditorium
Hill Auditorium is the main concert hall at The University of Michigan. It opened in 1913 and is known for almost perfect acoustics with a person singing onstage heard clearly in the top balcony without using a microphone and speakers.
It works when the choir doesn't come in until 5:58 for a finale like how I heard the Pittsburgh Symphony do it last night. But especially right before that, it should not have the choir.

Sure is nice to hear the songs being sung by the audience along with an excellent orchestra and choir!

The choir ruins what is otherwise a grand and elegant piece
Brandon Stephens Can you share why the chorus ruined the presentation of this Christmas selection?

I love Leroy Anderson's unparalleled orchestrations, but c'mon, this is a sing-along, what do you expect?
Leroy Anderson was a musical genius!
