just wanna point out that there is no universal runway design - the only thing that has to be the same about each runway is the runway number has to be the heading of the runway. apart from that, airports can choose how they want their runway to look, if it has any markers on it, etc.

This video motivated me to build my own airport in Minecraft, so I began back in August. I’m an AvGeek so I know all of the basic necessities for airports. As of now, 2 of the 6 concourses are completed as well as the runways and taxiways.

Can I just say how I really love that you went as far as to make the runways actually line up with real ICAO regulations? Like with the runway numbers and all that. And with the way you made the roads line up with real highway codes. That was a really nice touch and i appreciate that.

I like it but I have a suggestion add some more funiture,reasturants,and stores like real airports because I see lots of airport builds with nearly no funiture but this is the best airport I've seen in Minecraft so far

I like that you use worldedit instead of custom terrain, it really helps the builder get a feel for what he’s working with and it keeps the feel of the terrain authentic. b.) I like how instead of trying to draw perfect shapes you feel them out instead making your curves and corner rounding more natural looking c.) you establish patterns when you build, making your large scale structures easier to finish and appear to be one piece rather than a mess d.) Your use of detail to create depth in your structures is perfect, no one likes too many flat surfaces or it all starts to look artificial. I know you have 100,000 subs and I’m no one to you but I hope you can believe from my sincerity that I take Minecraft building projects pretty serious and I think you’re definitely one of the greatest. Most servers would need whole team, and maybe pay people, to take on some of your individual projects. Impressive.

@@ismaelmeltgomez8662 worldpainter is a software where you can make a custom map, it gives you brushes to make rivers, lakes, mountains, oceans, beaches etc, basically like worldedit on steroids, but the only thing worldpainter doesnt allow you to do is actually build structures like skyscrapers or roads etc. so its basically worldedit on steroids for terrain building

World class builder I would say. If you are on a restricted space world, try and fill it with whatever would be in a city. If you are on an infinite world, make a map board of you giant city!
Once I almost completed my airport and someone blew everything up, when they were my best friend! It happened on 8th May 2020! Why? It was VE Day and I have a big interest of history and I was finishing off my airport that took me 6 months and someone destroys it! 😭😭🙁

He's using a program, I think it's World Painter or WorldEdit, this last is very useful for doing giant constructions
