Nine months for blinding a kid. The justice system is a joke.

A kid who openly admitted to being and actively breaking into cars. He got caught and got pounded. Play stupid games to win stupid prizes

    • @UrbanDefenseSystems
      @UrbanDefenseSystems ปีที่แล้ว +7

@@adamozifanelli3128 The issue with that mentality, is that as the law gets stricter and stricter on the American population, one day you, your kid, or grandson might break the law unknowingly. And thanks to responses like yours, you set the precedent that it's okay if a cop blinds you or your loved ones, since after all... you broke the law and you won the "stupid prize". You either believe in the justice system (which means cops have to follow the law as well) or you don't. There's no real in between unless you're full of double standards and hypocrisy.

  • @lolabrini3758

im sorry but when a judge makes a sentence, u would think the following is considered:
1- abuse of power (as oppose to a regular civilian doing this)
2- using unprovoked violence (as opposed to self defense)
3- using disporpotionate violence (as oppose to restraining him only)
4- beating an unarmed vulnerable human
    5- victim was a child
6- severely injuring him, causing a him a lifetime of pain and trauma and severely reducing his QUALITY of life forever.
8 months is NOT a fitting sentence.
As well: a sentence is meant to be a DETERRENCE for other transgressors of similar crime. What this sentence tells police officers is: u will sit in jail maybe a month and then paroled.
That said: he is a cop, he probably put some criminals behind bars where he will join them, so there will be some retribution at their hands probably.

Pavel Dubchak that's not the role of police or anyone. Someone infringes on your rights: u have the right to stop them from abusing you. NOT beating them to a pulp. No one can do that, LEAST OF ALL the police whose role is to preserve PEACE not instigate more and greater violence.

So you think it is okay to burn up some of your time on earth to pay for insurance so that some punk can damage your property? No problem eh?

@@jimidcanada Yes unequivocally. We live in a civil society with a rule of law that forbids unarmed children from beaten blind with lead pipes. Think about it some more and try to visualize the event. The kid was stupid but the cop is a degenerate. The police enforce the law not break it. They must be held to a higher standard to ensure public safety.

Actually, i would agree. It would be a decent action for folks like you and me, but a trained police officer could do it better to detain a teen robber. Still it does not excuse the robber for his actions

Everyone here commenting ''only nine months'' are completely out of the loop as to what type of jail sentences canadian courts give to even seasoned criminals on firearms offences for example. 9 months for a first offence is an incredibly harsh sentence in canada, even if violent in nature. especially if committed against someone who is trying to steal your property.
