Buying Xuv 700 is kind of hype.
Buying Cares is smart decision.
I have tested with family both the cars. We feel very comfortable with Kia Carens and 3rd row is usable for adults in Carens
Also many usable features in Carens than Xuv 700.
Buying a 2 Star 💩💩Tincan is Smart decision ?? 🤣🤣..What are those usable features ,vehicle spliting into 2 during a crash?? thats a world class feature 🤣🤣
Compare that underpowered Carens with Ertiga & not with xuv700 🤣🤣

Carens ke 3rd row recline hote hai, headroom XUV seh behether hai aur 2nd rows aage slide bhi hote hain. Yeh to aapne bataaya hi nahi. Comparison theek nahi laga comfort ke maamle mein.

Although comparison can't be justified as both cars are of different segment but still I feel Carens is way better and practical in all aspect
I took test drive both the cars, I felt more comfort in Carens...in XUV700 road noise was felt inside the cabin
Karens is an amazing vehicle @ 8.99 lacs starting price.
But in every aspect carens is practical ,

Carens top end costs you 21 lakhs diesel Xuv 700 ax7 top end costs you 28 lakhs…
and still you miss out on ventilated seats… auto dimming irvms.
AX5 variant costs you around 23 lakhs and it misses out on a tonne of features as compared to carens top model which costs 21 lakhs automatic.Its unbelievable the hype around xuv700. Its an extremely expensive car. On top of that 89 weeks waiting period is a joke!
Top end kia carens on road is costing around 19.40 lakhs in punjab
Bro Carens top end exshowroom is 16.99 lacs and XUV7OO AX5 D AT 7 str exshowroom was 17.79 lacs on 1st day. The difference is just 80k in which one gets a panoramic sunroof which itself cost around 80k to 1 lac, a much much powerful engine (Carens 113bhp, 250NM, XUV7OO 182bhp, 450NM), huge difference in dimensions, XUV7OO looks much bigger than carens on road, dual infotainment of XUV is next level premium compared to carens. Both caters to different segment. People who wants a practical car with good FE prefer ertiga/XL6, triber etc and some may now switch to carens. But people who are driving enthusiasts and wants a big, powerful and fun to drive vehicle would not consider carens as an option. Carens is a good and practical car with attractive initial pricing but not in league with XUV7OO.

7OO's just wayy more powerful but Carens gets the job done. You'll feel the absence of reserve of power on ghats with full load.
Carene has better 3rd row legroom, knee-room, headroom, than 7OO.
7OO's driving dynamics are just in another league when compared to Carens.
U r wrong according to power to weight ratio carens is powerful...and in acceleration xuv700 0-100 is 9.8 and carens is 9.54....
I m talking about carens turbo petrol....
Diesel engines are not of that level.....
I was comparing the diesels.
And talking about their Turbo Petrols,
Petrol Manual XUV has 200HP and weighs 1727kgs, that equates to 115.8hp/tonne.
How much did you consider the weight of Carens?, because as of now Kia hasn't released an official statement.
And btw 0-100 for XUV 7OO Petrol Manual is 9.2 secs, 2nd fastest stock car below 25L.
9.8 secs is for XUV 7OO Diesel Automatic.

Also tell about wheel base of Kia Carens, mileage in city limits, stability etc. Will it be worth and good to purchase Kia Carens 2nd base models for my family in 14.00 lakh budget. Would you please suggest me some good other SUV in this budget. Is XL7 worth for a family. Thank you

No comparison at first place. Both are made to suit different requirements n budgets. Comparing safari & XUV makes sense not with carens. Yes, u can do comparison carens with ertiga.

Middle row movement ka difference hai.
Wrong info about middle row of XUV. It does not slide back and forth as in Carens..Only reclines. You mentioned is slides back and forth as in Carens.
So technically last row can get more leg space by adjusting middle row in Carens

In this case I can clearly see that carens has better 3rd row management due to better tigh support , better leg room , better head room and most important recline feature
And moreover as u are a bit tall , 3rd row is perfectly fine for adults upto 5.6 inches even for Long drive

Although it has 6 Airbags, ESP, ETC, Hill Climb Assist, Downhill Assist, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, All wheel disc brakes, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. With that i think it will get at least 4 star rating at Global NCAP. -- Sunil Bharat 🇮🇳
@@yaminigarg983 Carens is prized more aggressively than Seltos, that means build quality of Carens is further compromised. How can a company build a car in a cheaper rate than it's own previously launched car when steel price in last 2 years have increased 1.5 times? Seltos got 3 star in Global NCAP that too marginally, may be considered 2 star only.
Also, 6 airbags in carens won't improve the build quality of the car. It may provide some additional safety. They are yet to release kerb weight of carens.
Only people on strict budget should go for carens lower variant which are VFM. Once onroad is more than 14-15 lacs better to go with a 5 star rated car.
