Upgrade to Pirelli streets for road and you’ll peel off the line less and feel less vibration but always a blast even with the off road tires also. Single motor mode (rwd) is great for cruising. Great customer service you’ll love it lots of torque in dual motor at peak charge with a slight drop once battery loses half its juice but enough to keep smiling 🙂 0-30 in like 1.5 sec

I have an Apollo Pro, and the only detail I would add to this is, UL listing/certification.
For example, if you live in New York, e-scooters, e-bikes, etc, MUST be UL listed, or they are illegal... and that law is likely to be implemented almost everywhere eventually(soon).
That said, without going and researching all of these scooters, I can say that the Apollo Go, and Apollo City, are fully UL Certified.
If you don't want your shiny new toy to suddenly become illegal to use, buy ONLY UL certified units.✌🏼🇨🇦

I have basically an E-Move Cruiser S clone, but with 1000W single motor and the smallest battery option, 48V 10Ah.
Im happy with it, costed me less than 200$ 2nd hand, got already over 8k km on it and recently i upgraded from a notebook power supply (330W) to a 600W 24V power supply to charge those 480Wh via a DC DC boost converter.
I give the old 480Wh battery around 250-300W (circa 5A) when "fast charging", still quiet fast and a new, DIY LiPo battery with also 480Wh about 480-520W (10A) and literally charge it to 90% within 50 minutes from 0% (BMS cutoff) or close to it.
I was driving 2 days ago as it was warm and nice outside over 150 km (within like 18 hours), one battery charged at home while the other one was used for driving, on top of 200Wh externally mounted in form of 2 tool batteries (while the other set tool batteries charged at home).
If i would want to, i could drive 24/7 as long i can charge and swap to the spare batteries when i am going low on the driving ones.
My next scooter will have for sure a oversized battery, if it means i have to recharge only twice a week, i will even love it since im annoyed by charging 2-3x a day already.

I'm kinda new. My brothers bought a few smaller scooters. Let me ride a GoTrax for awhile. Only went about 17. Don't think it even had a speedometer but we gauged it by me pulling ahead of him on one that said he was going 15mph. Now I got money up and was looking just for something to keep up with local traffic on the streets and to go up hill to my GFs house. I priced and compared a ton of them. I found one called the Zsnake and it hit the sweet spot at I believe$1299? I bought it on Amazon lol. But dude the thing came... The frame is solid. It is friggin huge and clunky. Performance wise tho ... I believe I got some bang for my buck. At first I was afraid I was gonna break it. First ride was fast. 2nd time wouldn't go as fast. But then I figured out how to change from eco to dual mode. Omg guys... I was doing 50mph down the main street in town. Holding my position in traffic.the speed limit is 30 but everyone drives like A holes up here. I gotta do over 40 just to match traffic. Having that little extra speed when you want it is handy tho. I've ridden it all week in dual mode (no eco) and only today has the battery alert popped up. Kinda hard to tell exactly how low it is or how far to go before I plug her back in. Anyone interested I'd recommended checking it out. I've heard people try and trash talk this company who I am not affiliated with in any way. That they are just an American company that buys Chinese parts and yadda yadda. This thing is super heavy. Takes up space. Uses 2 chargers. But when I squeal them 11 inch off road tubeless tires and take off... Boy it's enjoyable. I don't dare give it a high rating until I've had it longer. But I truly believe if I take good care of it... That it will treat me well. And for now... It really is a ton of fun. Bit of a head turner. You definitely get noticed on the thing. With it's bright orange paint scheme and lights all the way around it. Two headlights, a brake light, and turn signals. You definitely get noticed. Especially at night, people gawk like they are seeing an alien go past... but even at day time with no lights on. Had an older gentleman compliment me inside a store. Guess he noticed my helmet matched the orange and black color scheme and figured I must be the guy? Hahaha Good times tho.

I've had mine for a year and a half. I'm an older rider so I don't do jumps or anything crazy and I only weigh around 170lbs. It seems the hole for the pivot point on the rear suspension arm is becoming oval. A good 1/4 inch of play back there. I think I'll need to take it apart, drill out the hole and put in some bearings. Maybe even switch out the rod if it's bent or mashed at the ends. It seems the material that the rear forks or swing-arms are made from, just isn't strong enough for the weight of an average rider or the strength of the suspension spring. I did a search, and it seems most riders are experiencing this problem a year down the line.

The main benefit for something like the Mantis King GT or the Mantis V2 is that they've got spare parts out the wazoo and are more than likely going to last the test of time. I had a fair number of issues with my V2, as I have stated, but I am convinced I've got a lemon unit because EVERYTHING else on the scooter has had zero issues across the board. It's a tank. The King GT is a tested design that's had 3-4 revisions and is one of those models you get when you want something reliable and has a solid database of known problems, parts to fix and user experience to back it up. If you're looking for a $2000 scooter and the Mantis King GT is on sale, I'd say get that if the Klima isn't available.
    Just my three cents.
I'd LOVE to see you try the Mantis V2 and give it a solid chance since your original mantis just fell apart. I want to know your thoughts on it over time too, if only because I feel it'd be more of a 'redemption arc' in a way for that specific model. :)

honestly yall sleeping on the amazon scooters. i got a skycore rs3 about a week ago and it is way better than majority of these scooters for a way cheaper price($1300). it looks nice accelerates super quick most times when i leave a stop light i dont see any cars until im about to be at the next one unless the road is really long. its advertised at 40mph but sometimes on full charge and when theres not much wind it’ll hit 45. it says it can go 45 miles on a charge im sure it can if you go on the lowest speed. but full speed it can do i’d say around 15-18 maybe 20 miles is more accurate depending on how much you’re breaking to regenerate. overall really solid scooter got many compliments on it but i am probably gonna return it and spend a few more hundred for a 50mph one i saw with a bigger battery more range because i use it to go to work which is about 13 miles away and would like to keep up with traffic better and be able to go more places after work instead of just home to charge. ill do a review on video before i return it then ill review the next one as well
